Hi Blogging Buddies...

Hope you're all well in this chilly weather!

It's my turn to bring you a card for Whimsie Doodles - this time I chose to use one of this month's new releases - this is Birthday Abby and can be found HERE.  Isn't she just such a cutie?  I was also tempted to use a colour that I don't normally go for as you know... yellow...  but it seemed to suit her personality!  OK, I confess...  every image I colour takes on a personality and gives me hints on which colours to use...!!  Will you send for the men in white coats now?? LOL!

Hugs and Kisses....

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends....

I seem to be on a colouring roll at the moment...  you know when you can't wait to get in your craft room and colour ANOTHER image??  That's kinda how it is with me! Unfortunately, the dreaded (shhhhhhhhh) housework is suffering...  but hey... the dust will still be there tomorrow - so I'll actually be saving myself time... yes??  Well that's my logic!

I was having a Tiddlyinks moment... I have seen some beautiful Tiddlyinks Creations recently, so dug into my bulging computer files and saw amongst all my other Tiddlyinks images,  this gorgeous little fairy..... Fairy Tenderhearted...  oooh she's just soooo cute - and she flew out at me, whispering about a lovely new die that's (ahem...) landed in my stash recently and saying that she'd like to be placed sitting above said die... so who was I to argue??

Card Recipe:
Paper - Basic Grey Sugar Rush
Die - Noor Design Joy Autumn 6002/0317
Sentiment - Pink Petticoat
Punch - Stampin Up Word Window
Copics -
Skin E000/00/21/11/04, R20
Hair E34/23/25/29
Greens G20/99 YG63
Tree Branch E40/42/43
Flowers R32/24/35
Toadstools W3/5, R35/37/46
Shading B0000/000/14/Blender
Uni Posca White Pen for dots
Ribbon and Glitter

I've decided along with a lot of other talented crafters, to throw my hat in the ring and have a go at the Tiddlyinks DT call as I do sooooo love their images..  so wish me luck!

I nearly left it a bit too late - but have made it by the skin of my teeth!

Soo...  that's me done for today... but I'll be back soon!

All of my Heart....

Hi Peeps....

Hope you're all well and that you've stayed safe with the awful weather over the last couple of days..  I do hate the wind more than any other weather.... it's the noise that gets to me!

OK, I'm here with a CAS card to show you today.  Recently my attention was drawn to images from Art By Mi Ran - and how on earth I hadn't seen them before, I have no idea!  ANYWAY...  I had to rectify the fact that I hadn't used one..  so here you go!  This one is 'All of My Heart' - available HERE.

Again, I didn't think she needed more than I gave her in the way of embellishments so she's CAS...  and please note, there is NO PINK on this card... apart from the blush on her cheeks! (Her shoes are 'light red LOL!)  I did glossy accent the hearts..  but like always, difficult to get them to show on the photo... you'll have to use your imagination!

Colours Used
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: E23, E25, E29
Coat and Bag: G21, G82, then changed my mind and went for W5, W7 over top
Shading: B0000, B000

Hope you like what I did with her!

Big Hugs..

A little cutie at In The Pink...

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends...

Today it's time for another challenge at In The Pink - and it's an ANYTHING GOES challenge so nice and easy!

I chose to use yet another little cute image (think I'm falling in love and finally finding my 'thing'!)  This little lady is from CC Designs Pollycraft - and is called Sugar...  hmmm, I think that title is self-explanatory as she's soooooo sweet!

Now I decided to do a shaker card... but wanted the aperture to be totally see- through instead of the usual white background - and I've tried to take some photographs to show what I've done.  There are two layers of acetate, but without the usual foam pads so it doesn't have too much depth - just enough depth for the sequins and stars to float around in!  The first layer of acetate was added behind the pink layer - and the second on to the front of the card (after the circle aperture was diecut through both the pink and white together - to ensure it being in the right place!)  Then I added some thin double sided tape around the aperture to keep the sequins inside!

And because the aperture is see through, you can't just print or write a sentiment on the inside of the card as it can be seen!

So... I printed out the inside sentiment and made another little plain folded card shape... that lifts up to show the sentiment! Does all that make sense??  Hope so!

Card Recipe:
Colouring: Copics -
Hair: E21, E25,  E29,
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Dress, Shoes and icing: R81, R83, R85, RV91, RV34
Cakes E30, E25
Uni Posca White Pen for hearts on dress
Dies: Lil Inkers Stitched Circles and Stitched Tags, Mama Elephant Confetti
Sentiment - Pink Petticoat
Glitter, Sequins, and Martha Stewart Iridescent Stars from Stash

Why don't you pop over to In The Pink HERE to see what the other lovely Pink Ladies have made and to join in the Anything Goes fun?

Thanks to all that take the time to look through my blog and continue to support me by leaving comments...  They do all mean a lot to me and I just want to let you know they are all very much appreciated!

Big hugs
