Pretty Pink Posh Winter Trees

Hi Lovelies...

I've been in a CAS mood lately, so when this Winter Trees set by Pretty Pink Posh dropped through my letterbox, I knew what was going to be my first card!

I diecut the tree from silver glitter card, and added it to a diecut stitched square.  Then I created a square stitched panel, which I embossed with a square in the centre, using a plain square die and a rubber mat in the diecutting machine - it just gives some extra depth.  I added the square with the tree in the centre of that.

This is such an easy card to make - I think I'll be batch making some to send out!

So sorry about the photography though - we had bad weather over the weekend, so getting a photograph of the whites was very difficult!

Happy Crafting...

Snowman again!

Hi Peeps...

I'm back today with another card using this gorgeous snowman die.

This time, I created a background using a rectangular stencil, which I blended Distress Inks through, then I splattered white to create the snow.

I colour the snowman with Copics, then adhered him to the scene with foam pads.  Lastly I added a small sentiment, which I'd heat embossed in silver.

Card Info:

Distress Inks - Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch,
Chipped Sapphire
Colouring - Copics

I know I'm going to be using this snowman die over and over - he's such a joy to put together and he just comes to life with that smile!  Hope you like him as much as I do..

Craft Addiction UK Deer

Hi Lovelies..

Today I've used some diecut deers from Craft Addiction UK - and popped them in front of a diecut forest - I've created the background using Distress Oxides - then shaded the trees slightly, adding lots of stickles for sparkle.

I adhered the diecuts with foam tape, then added a tiny sentiment which I'd heat embossed in silver.

Hope you like!

Snowman scene

Hi Lovelies..

Today I'm sharing a card I made with a fabulous little snowman die...  and I decided to use an arch frame to give him a nice little background!

Firstly, I coloured the snowman's hat and scarf, also giving him a little shading too.  I added glitter to his hat too.  I created a little background that would fit in my arch, using Distress Oxides for the sky, and some glitter card for the snow bank.  I added lots of splattered white snow and glitter, then adhered the snowman in the corner.  I'd popped some tiny trees from Gummiapan to the scene which I think, gave depth.

Then I adhered the little scene to a panel that I'd embossed with a snowy embossing folder.  I decided it didn't need a sentiment.
