Little Camp

Hi Lovelies..

Today, my card uses one of the new images for March from All Dressed Up Digital Stamps... this one is called Little Camp.

I coloured the gorgeous image with Copics, then created the sky with my Prismacolour Pencils.   I did some dotting with a white gel pen and some glitter around the tent, then I added a couple of die cut clouds.  I framed the image with a scalloped frame die cut then matted onto some some dotty lilac card.

Bundle Girl on a Swing

Hi again...

Yay... it's Bellarific Friday again - and this time I got to play with this gorgeous little Bundle Girl on a Swing...  she's so adorable!

After colouring, I chose to crop the image slightly by using a diecut coloured frame over some patterned paper.  I also changed the shape of the sentiment that comes with her too - I just cut each line of the words to separate, so that I could stack then on top of each other in my stamp positioner.  Hey Presto - they fit where I needed them!

Up with Love

Hi Lovelies...

A bit of a minimalistic card from me today...  I love this new stamp set from Mama Elephant - and knew it needed very little in the way of other decorations...  so here it is.

I coloured and fussy cut the image - then created a panel by using post-it tape from one side to the other... stencilling clouds above.  I adhered the gorgeous little bunny on one side, then stamped a sentiment from the set.  I did think that was a little TOO minimalistic - so added a couple of hearts.

Rachelle Anne Miller Ballerina

Hi Lovelies...

I've been playing with my stash of lovely Rachelle Anne Miller digital images - and this little girlie was just desperate to be coloured so she could get on with her dancing!

As she has lots of birds, butterflies, and flowers surrounding her, I didn't do any fussy cutting, but tried a different shading technique using Prismacolor Pencils... after being inspired by a lovely blogger friend of mine.  When I first started using these pencils (about 10 years ago now!), I did similar shading - but I'd forgotten, so was happy to dig out my pencils again - and I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Balloon Girl

Hey Lovely Bloggers...

For my card today, I played with this fabulous little image from Rachelle Anne Miller - she's soooo darn cute and I knew as soon as I spotted her, she had to be in my basket, coloured and on a card as quick as I could!  Mine is a digital image from her website - though there are stamps also available through MFT.

I coloured and fussy cut her - then I created a little panel of hearts by firstly blending Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick distress inks, then using a Honey Bee Whimsical Hearts Stencil with a Picked Raspberry.   I matted and layered the panel creating the card - then adhered the image off to one side.  I chose to use a tiny  sentiment which I gold embossed.

Floral Focus

Hi Lovelies...

I've been playing with this gorgeous MFT Floral Focus stamp after being inspired by Renee at @241Creative Street.  She'd used this stamp set on some of her recent cards, so as I knew I had the set and hadn't used it yet, I dug it out!

I decided to create a slimline card with the set, so split the image by fussy cutting after colouring.  I created a stitched slimline panel by adapting a smaller size die in order to make a long one.  It's a bit fiddly to do, but saves some pennies!

I then splattered the stitched panel with gold watercolour paint - I love that effect!  I stamped and embossed the sentiment in gold, then I placed the flowers using 3D foam pads to give height.  A little bit of matting and layering, a few gems added,  and it was done.

Card Info:
Image - MFT Floral Focus
Sentiment - MFT Flowers in Bloom
Die - MFT Stitched Rectangles
Colouring - Copics
Flowers - RV000/10/11, RV93/95

Gold - Gansai Tambi Starry Watercolours

Hope you like my make today as much as I enjoyed making it.  I'll certainly be using this stamp set again soon now it's out of my 'use soon' pile!

The Snow Queen

Hi Lovelies

It's time for another Bellarific Friday - and as it's the last Friday of the month, the DT using images from the current release.  I chose to use the fabulous Oddball Snow Queen - and I decided to go for pink as a colour scheme...  with a bit of glitter added of course!

To begin with, I used some Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and did a little smooshing and painting on a diecut panel.  Then I did lots of splatters, both of deeper pink and white acrylic paints.

Then I coloured and fussy cut the image - again, adding lots of glitter around her fur trim.  I adhered her with foam pads to the panel to give some depth then I stamped the sentiment alongside her and added some sequins.

Lots of Love

Hi Peeps..

We had an anniversary yesterday - it was 19 years since I first met my lovely man - so I made him this card to celebrate!  I can't believe it's that long..  where does the time go???

I used the Lots of Love Stamp Set from Colorado Crafts - I've been fancying using one of their stamps since I first saw them - and was unable to get my hands on them till recently.  They're such clean outlines and give a real cartoon-ey type feel to the image....  so I kept the card simple too.  After colouring the panel, I used foam to mount it onto the card base to give a little depth.

Card Info:
Image and Sentiment - Colorado Crafts Lots of Love
Die - MFT Stitched Rectangles
Paper - MFT
Colouring - Copics
Rabbit 1 - WO/1/2/3/5

Hope you like my make today - I KNOW I'll be using more of these fabulous Colorado Crafts images in the very near future.... there's already more crept into my stash already!

Another Rainbow Make...

Hi All...

I'm back into rainbow mode for my card today..  it's my favourite place to be at the moment as it makes me happy!

I've been diecutting again - this is using the Altenew Stacked Diamonds Cover plate - I cut it twice and adhered them today, to give depth to the die cut....  then I used Distress Oxides on a panel in rainbow order...  for the diecut panel to be matted on to.

I then used a sentiment stamp from Mama Elephant's Paola's Wishes stamp set onto an MFT Pierced Circle diecut - finishing with a few flowers from that I'd stamped and fussy cut from the Simon Says Stamp Freestyle Flowers stamp set.

Here's the Distress Oxide colours I used...

Hope you like my make today even though it's a bit of a mish mash of lots of products from different companies!

Big hugs and Happy Crafting...
