Love just got real....

Hi there lovely bloggers...

It's another Bellarific Friday - and this time we're using images that are from the current release.

I chose to use this fabulous Curvy Girl with Newborn..  and I used one of the sentiments that comes with the image...  this sentiment is so true making this the perfect card for new parents.

I decided to create a panel for the side of the card - so stamped a large background stamp and heat embossed in white - before sponging Distress Oxides in matching colours.  I like how it turned out.

Card Info:
Panel - MFT Background Stamp
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/04, R20
Hair E41/42/43/44
Dress - BV000/00/01/02
Baby - RV52/63
Greens - YG23/61
Shading T0/1
Distress Oxides - Spun Sugar and Dusty Concord
Sequins

Hope you like my make today... and that you'll pop over to the Stamping Bella Blog for more inspiration from the Babes... and also to the Facebook Sistahood page to share your Stamping Bella makes.

And shhhhhhhhh.... there's a new release coming soon...  YAYY!!!

Big hugs

Hoggin' the Birthday Wishes...

Hi Peeps...

Today I'm so happy to be sharing another make as Guest Designer at The Greeting Farm.

These piggies captured my heart when they were released, and I've been waiting for the perfect time to use them.  Aren't they just THE cutest piggies you ever saw?

I coloured them, then fussy cut (there's cut it out dies available) and adhered with 3D Foam Tape.

Card Info:
Sentiment - Done on PC
Paper - Anna Marie Designs
Die - Lil' Inkers Stitched Rectangle
Colouring - Copics
Piggies - R000/00/01/02 E13
Pinks - R81/83/85
Grounding T0/1
Glitter

Now there's actually FOUR piggies in this set...  and only three could fit on the front of my card...  so as I felt desperately sorry for the fourth...  I popped her on the inside of my card to give the recipient a nice surprise!

Hope you like my make today..

Big hugs (or should that be hogs??)

Happy Birthday!

Hi There..

I've been playing again with my Whimsy Stamps Beaucoup Bouquet - and had received this fabulous Happy Birthday die from Mama Elephant which I knew would be just right for the card I had in mind.

I created a blended background using Distress Oxides in Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber and Picked Raspberry... then splashed it with water.  I cut three of the Happy Birthday diecuts, and adhered them together to give some depth.  Then after colouring the flowers, diecut them and added them to the lower half of the card...  a bit 'busy' but I like it.  A few little Nuvo drops finished it off.

Card Info:
Flowers - Whimsy Stamps Beaucoup Bouquet
Dies - Mama Elephant Big Happy Birthday, MFT Stitched Rectangle
Distress Oxides as above
Colouring - Copics
Pinks - R81/83/85/89
Yellows - Y15/17/18/38 YR23
Greens - YG23 G17

Hope you like my make today..

Of course, I chose pink as my main colour...

Sentiment - done on PC
Die - MFT Stitched Square
Paper - from Stash
Colouring - Copics
Pinks RV52/63/55  Greens YG23/25

Squidgy Pals

Hi Lovelies...

It's Bellarific Friday time again and this time, we had a colour inspiration photo to inspire our makes...

Image may contain: plant and nature

Now as you may imagine, this took me out of my pink comfort zone somewhat, but I pulled up my big girl pants and got on with it.

I used a Tim Holtz Stencil to create the background, sponging through with Distress Oxides in various shades...  then I edged the panel with a little strip of bazzil... using offcuts of that for my little Stuffies to stand on!

I love the little faces on these little characters - although my lovely man took a look and thought the one on the right was me scratching my head, thinking 'where's the PINK?' Ha!

Card Info:
Stencil - Tim Holtz
Sentiment - MFT Happy Birthday Bold Die
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/04, R20 (the boy's skin is a little dark as my E11 'blobbed'- and I had to rescue it!)
Hair - Boy - E21/13 Girl - E25/27
Clothes - YG05/23/25, BG72/75
BG13, E77/79
Enamel Dots

I think I managed to stick to the required colour scheme.. and quite enjoyed using this combo.  Hope you like it too!

Don't forget to pop over to the Stamping Bella Blog to see further inspiration and also to the Sistahood Facebook page to chat all things Bella and to share your Bella makes.

Fairy Kisses....

Hi There..

Today I'm back to share my second Guest Designer Card for The Greeting Farm..  and for this one I used a digital image - this is Cheeky Fairy.  The advantage of using digital images is that you can resize to whatever suits your project..  giving lots of scope for your creativity!

I coloured the fairy with copics - then fussy cut her - taking extreme care not to nick her wings with my scissors of course...  that would never do! LOL!

I then created the background using a sun-ray stencil - sponging some Distress Oxide ink to show behind the fairy.

As this gorgeous fairy not only looks cheeky, but also looks like she's blowing some kisses, I created a suitable sentiment on the PC - using Amatic Font.

Card Info:
Sentiment - done on PC using Amatic Font
MFT Sun-ray Stencil
Scrap of Paper from Stash
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/04, R20
Hair - YR14/18 E08/18
Dress and Wings - V000/01/04/12/20

I finished by sprinkling lots of glitter and gems to complete the fairy style, as of course, fairies have to have lots of sparkle!

Hope you like my make today..

After being inspired when I saw this fabulous card from Celine, I bought this stamp set and created, using a similar layout and colour scheme...  and after asking her for permission, have posted it here.

Mother's Day Chicks

Hi All...

It's Bellarific Friday again at Stamping Bella (the weeks come around sooooo quickly!)...  and this time we're using an image from our Stamp of the Month collection...  which for March is our fabulous Chicks!

As it's Mother's Day at the end of March, I chose to use this gorgeous Mother's Day Chick... this Mum is cuddling her two little chickadees..  awwww!!

Lots of yellow colouring later - this is what I came up with.  I decided to do white on white lettering for the word MUM - I think I maybe should have raised it slightly more than it is - but hey ho, we live and learn.

Card Info:
Sentiment - Altenew Bold Alphabet Dies, Whimsy Stamps For You
MFT Stitched Rectangle Dies
Colouring - Copics
Yellows - Y13/15/17/18/38 YR23/24

Red - R24/46

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm sharing a card which uses the Pretty Pink Posh Floral Hearts for the second time in a week..  I do love this stamp and die set!

This time I used a Distress Oxide blended background - I do love creating these!  I splattered some Perfect Pearls across the panel - but it's another of the 'difficult to photograph' sparkly bits!

Card Info:
Image - Pretty Pink Posh Floral Hearts
Sentiment - Pretty Pink Posh Everyday Greetings
Die - MFT Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames
Distress Oxides - Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves

I raised the heart and the frame on 3D foam tape

Without change there would be no butterflies...

Hi Lovelies..

It's Friday.... so yay... it's Bellarific time at Stamping Bella.. and this time the Babes are highlighting images that aren't from the current release.

Now some of my all time favourite images are the wonderful Butterfly Girls - this one is Bess the Butterfly.  I went for pale lilacs to colour her - just delicate enough, although what looks like black on the edge of her wings is actually deep lilac.

I've done a little video below to show that I also used a Wink of Stella pen to give her dress some gorgeous sparkle.... it's so difficult to capture in a photo but I wanted to show you.

Card Info:
Die - MFT Stitched Squares
Paper - Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/04 R20
Hair - C5/7/9
Butterfly - V000/01/12/15/17
Grounding N0/1
Shading B000/00

Hope you like my make today and that you'll pop over to the Stamping Bella Blog to see more inspiration - and also to the Stamping Bella Sistahood Facebook page.... we do love to see your makes using Stamping Bella images!

Have a Quacking Good Time!

Hi Lovelies...

It's been a busy week for me and I'm back yet again - this time with my Guest Designer card for Gerda Steiner Designs.

As Spring is just around the corner, I was inspired to use a cutie from the Lucky Duck stamp set.  I cut a panel of white cardstock with a rectangular die - then cut the circles with an inside/out stitched circle die to give the spaces for the ducks.  Lots of foam tape later, I ended up with my card.

Card Info:
Dies - MFT Stitched Rectangles, Lil' Inkers Inside/Out Stitched Circle
Lawn Fawn Stitched Borders
Colouring - Copics
Y15/17/18/38 YR24/14

The backgrounds to each circle were done with Distress Inks and Copics... I traced through the circles to the card so I knew where to colour - then added the die cut panel with the foam tape.

Hope you like my make today.. I'll be back tomorrow!

Big hugs

Have a Fairy Nice Day!

Hi there...

I'm so excited to say that I'm Guest Designing for The Greeting Farm throughout March! I absolutely adore their images and have lots in my craft stash - they stamp so clearly and are a joy to colour.

Today I'm using a cutie from the Little Fairies clear stamp set - and of course I chose to use my favourite colour - well, fairies have to have lots of pink, don't they??

I used the little tiny crown and the sentiment from the same stamp set - they go so perfectly together.

Card Info:
Dies - Uniquely Created Stitched Scalloped Circles, Lawn Fawn Stitched Borders
Paper - MFT
Colouring - Copics
Hair - RV52/63/55
Skin - E000/00/11/04 R20
Wings BV000/V00
Glitter and Gems
Distress Ink Broken China

After I'd coloured the fairy, I blended some Broken China Distress Ink onto the circle, then I fussy cut the fairy and adhered her with some double-sided foam tape.  I added glitter to her wings and crown so she has some lovely sparkle.

I hope you like my make today.

Big hugs

Sending Love

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm back in my CAS zone...  sharing a simple card I made with a stamp and die set from Pretty Pink Posh.

I used the Floral Hearts stamp set for the wreath, and a co-ordinating die set to fussy cut.  I adhered the wreath with foam pads to give it some height from the card, and stamped the sentiment in the centre.

Card Info:
Image and Sentiment - Pretty Pink Posh Floral Hearts
Dies - Pretty Pink Posh Floral Hearts, MFT Stitched Rectangle
Colouring - Copics
YG17, R83/85, RV 63/55
Glossy Accents, Glitter and Sequins to finish

I think this stamp set is going to be one that I use a lot - it really lends itself to lots of different occasions.

Big hugs
