Pretty Pink Posh Small Stitched Foliage

Hi Peeps...

I have another autumnal card to share today... again I shopped my stash and found this lovely little die set from Pretty Pink Posh called Small Stitched Foliage. It's one I've used before a few times and I love blending the colours of the leaves.

Firstly, I used a burlap embossing folder to create the background, then die cut the leaves from white cardstock.  I used Distress Oxides to blend the colours on the leaves, before adhering them with foam pads to the embossed panel and trimming the edges.  Lastly, I added an autumn word cut from glitter card, adhering 3 die cuts together to give strength to the word.

Card Info:
Dies - Pretty Pink Posh Small Stitched Foliage
Embossing Folder - Honey Bee Stamps Burlap
Distress Oxides Wild Honey, Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain,
Rusted Hinge, Crackling Campfire, and Peeled Paint
Autumn Word Die
Glitter Card

Hope you like my card today... I do love the beautiful colours our leaves turn at this time of year before they drop... nature is amazing, isn't it?

Tiddlyinks Wryn in the Fall

Hi Lovelies...

Well as it's very much Autumn here in the UK, I decided to use some autumnal colours for my card today, and I chose to use this older, but still lovely digital image of Wryn from Tiddlyinks - I used to be on the Tiddlyinks DT, so I've had this for some years!

I used Distress Oxides for the background, splattered with water, white paint and then gold watercolour paint.  Don't ask me what the colours are, as I think I made this background last year and it's been sitting waiting for me to use it!

I coloured and fussy cut the image, then used my embossing tool to round the image slightly, before I used foam pads to adhere it to the panel.  I created a little pile of leaves with Copics for her to play in!  Lastly, I created a little sentiment on the PC - I know I must have one somewhere, but I can't find it - anyway, I was happy with how this one turned out.

Card Info:
Image - Tiddlyinks Wryn in the Fall Digital Image
Sentiment - done on PC
Distress Oxides (sorry can't remember the colours)
Gold and White Watercolour Paint
Colouring - Copics
Hat and Coat - E21/23/25
Skin - E000/00/11 R20
Hair - YR04/18 E08/18
Dress - RV42 R43/32/14

The leaves are certainly changing colour and falling rapidly around me, such beauty is everywhere!

Hugs..

Alcohol Ink Panel

Hi Peeps...

Today I'm sharing a card that I made with an off-cut of a panel I created with alcohol inks...  which has gold foil on it too for extra sparkle.  I used gold mirri card to frame the panel top and bottom, then adhered it to a die cut stitched square.  Lastly, I added a old sentiment from Paper Smooches.

There's not much more I can say about the card... it's pretty CAS!

Big hugs

Memory Box Happy Birthday Posh Script

Hi Lovelies...

I was inspired for my card today by a lovely card made by Rachel at @colourandsparkle - but I really have had difficulty photographing it - I think our weather isn't helping as either the sky is dark with rain clouds, or it's very bright which makes the blue sky reflect in a blue-ish hue on my white!  One day I'm going to have to invest in a better set up!

Anyways... it's an easy make...   I used a rectangle stencil which I blended Distress Oxides though - then when that was dry, I splattered with gold watercolour paint.  I then used this gorgeous word die from Memory Box, cutting the shadow in vellum and the words in glitter card.  I adhered this to the card panel, then the panel to a pink card base.   Lastly I added a few gems for more sparkle!

Card Info:
Dies - Memory Box Happy Birthday Posh Script, MFT Stitched Rectangles
Distress Oxides - Kitsch Flamingo, Scattered Straw and Tumbled Glass
Gold Watercolour paint
Gems

I think this final photo is the most accurate when it comes to the colours I used..  hope you like!

Altenew Blooming Flower Bed Stencils

Hi Lovelies...

Well I've been shopping my stash again, and I've had these gorgeous Altenew Blooming Flower Bed stencils for a while, and have only used them once... so out they came again!

I've made a couple of cards, in different colours and with different sentiments..  believe it or not, the words are in gold, but it's so difficult to photograph!

Card Info:
Stencils - Altenew Blooming Flower Bed Stencils
Catherine Pooler Inks
Dies - Simon Says Stamp

And here's the second colour mix..

Loving this sentiment - it's all you'd ever wish anyone, isn't it?

Sorry about the amount of pics...  I really am just trying to show the colours how I actually see them (especially the gold), and not as my camera THINKS they should be!

Big Hugs

Alex Syberia Designs Sweet Friend

Hi Lovelies...

Well it's CAS time for me today.. I love this little Sweet Friend set from Alex Syberia Designs..  but decided that nothing should detract from the little kiss that this pair are sharing!

So all I did, after colouring and fussy cutting, was to give them a strip of greenery to stand on, a couple of die cut hearts above them, and the tiny greeting below the strip.

Card Info:
Image and Sentiment - Alex Syberia Designs Sweet Friend
Die - MFT Stitched Rectangle, Tiny heart Die
Smooshed Scrap for strip
Colouring - Copics
Mice - E40/41/42/43 R000
Dress - R81/83 White Gel Pen
Top and shorts - BG02/11 B23

To make the little mice slightly rounder, I used a large embossing ball tool onto the back of the image while it was on firm foam.

Definitely CAS!

Hope you like my little pair...

Lawn Fawn Magic Messages

Hi Lovelies...

For my card today, I have been using some of the spare smooshed backgrounds that are in my folder - diecutting them with flower and wreath dies.  I've made a few cards with different sentiments - this is just one.

Card Info:
Flowers and Wreath Dies - sorry they are older - no name on them
Sentiment - Lawn Fawn Magic Messages
Distress Oxides
Gold Embossing Powder

I'm afraid I'm getting increasingly frustrated with the photography of my cards.. which is why I've not been posting as many.  I wish there was a magic trick to be able to capture the true colours of the card!

Hugs...
