Flower Garden

Hi All..

I'm sharing a card today that I made using the Hero Arts Flower Garden Die and the pastel rainbow colours that I've been using lately...  so easy to make!

Firstly, I just used Distress Oxide Inks to blend a rainbow panel - colours as follows..

Spun Sugar
Picked Raspberry
Carved Pumpkin
Squeezed Lemonade
Crarcked Pistachio
Mermaid Lagoon
Wilted Violet

Then I simply used the die to cut a flower panel out of white cardstock to lay on top.  I adhered them together, then onto a card blank.

The Happy Birthday die is from Simon Says Stamp and has the shadow background, so I diecut the word in gold, and the shadow in pale pink glitter card to make it pop from the card.  I added some gems to the flowers, and it was done.

Hope you like!

The Secret Ingredient is always LOVE

Hi Lovelies...

It's another Bellarific Friday so I'm here with a card using one of the fabulous Curvy Girls.... don't ya just love these beauties??  This is Curvy Girl Baker - and she's been baking a tasty cake... yum!

I'm also am trying out a new technique that I've seen the lovely Rachel Alvarado use with lots of splatters over a Distress Oxide panel for the background - I think I need to practice more to get my splatters actually just on my card and not all over my desk as I had to do a lot of cleaning up afterwards!  I was really happy how it turned out tho, so thanks to Rachel for the inspiration.

Sending Big Hugs

Hi Lovelies...

I've been playing with this fabulous MFT Sending Big Hugs Die - and these cards are the result!  I'm just about to send them to good friends who I'm missing lots!

I used Distress Oxide Inks on a Bristol Smooth panel - using pastel rainbow colours. I sprayed the coloured panel on the first card with Perfect Pearls to give it a shimmer.  On the second, I used more colours to include lilac too.  Then I diecut the word panels three times for each card - giving lots of depth for the letters, adhering them together.  The little critters and the sentiments were from the tiny MFT Missing You Every Single Day Stamp Set.

The Wedding Cake

Hi There...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Here's to a healthy, happy and joyous 2021!

Now today is the start of the new challenge over at All Dressed Up Digital Stamps Facebook Page - and the theme is..

SOMETHING SIMPLE

I think you all probably know by now that I do like CAS cards - so I pulled out and printed this fabulous Wedding Cake image from Wendy, coloured it up, then gave it some shading around to make it pop.  All I did then was use a stitched, scalloped border die on either side of the image, before mounting that on foam pads to adhere to the printed background.  A little sentiment strip completed the card.

Card Info:
Digital Paper
Die - Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Borders
Sentiment - done on PC
Colouring - Copics
Cake C0/1

Leaves YG05/17

Hope you'll join in the fun for this challenge - you can find the details on the All Dressed Up Facebook Page HERE.

A Gift from Yeti

Hi Lovelies..

For today's Bellarific Friday at Stamping Bella, we're highlighting the Stamp of the Month for December - which this time is 'A Gift From Yeti'.

I kept my card relatively simple... I coloured and fussy cut the yeti, before adhering with foam pads to a dry embossed snowy backdrop.  I added the sentiment which is included, to a white band, finishing with a couple of gems.  I matted some navy blue cardstock behind the panel.

Snowy Embossing Folder
Colouring - Copics
Yeti - B60/63, RV91/93

Prima Ballerina

Me again!

This time I'm here with my card for the All Dressed Up Challenge for December - the theme this time is:

MAKE IT SQUARE

Now I do love this fabulous image from Wendy - and I knew which paper I wanted to put alongside her..  then I wondered whether to add embellishments or not.  I decided against, as I didn't want to take anything away from this dancer, who in my eyes, had to be the total centre of attention!  I coloured and shaded around her rather than fussy cutting this time, to make the image pop from the page.

Card Info:
Paper - LOTV Digital Paper
Die - Lil' Inkers Stitched Square
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/01/11/70 R20
Hair - E42/43
Dress - R10/81/83/85
Shading and grounding - T0/1/2/3
Glitter

I also didn't add a sentiment for similar reasons, deciding this card could be sent to an aspiring dancer on any number of occasions... or even to someone who just appreciates ballet.  I did add lots of glitter to her tutu though.... well, what's a girl without glitter???

Hope you like my make and that you'll pop on over to the All Dressed Up Facebook Page to join in the 'Square' fun!

Big hugs

Take to the Slopes

Hi Peeps...

Well I have two cards to share with you today.... my first is from All Dressed Up and is available as a freebie through the Kit and Clowder Facebook Page!!!

The image is called 'Take to the Slopes' - I decided to go a bit 'out there' and do a pink sky.... it turned out slightly pinker than I would have liked, but hey...  I like it!  I Distress Ink blended the background, added a little snowy slope with a few glittery die-cut trees.. then all I had to do was colour and fussy cut the image and adhere!

Card Info:

Image - All Dressed Up Take to the Slopes Digital Image (freebie on K & C Advent Calender Facebook Page)

Sentiment - done on PC

Dies - Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders, MFT Stitched Rectangles, Trees - Marianne Design CR1287

Colouring - Copics  -  Skin E000/01/11, Hair E43/44, Jumper B21/23/24, Pinks RV52/63/55, Skis N0/1/3, Ski Goggles C5/7

I splattered the background with white acrylic paint to create a snow scene, then sprayed with Pearl Ex to give a sparkly look - difficult to photograph, but better in real life.

I'll be back later today with another All Dressed Up DT card - this time for our challenge!

See Ya Later...
