Rolled Paper Christmas Tree...

Hi Blogging Buddies...

Well I was so impressed and LOVED the gorgeous card that my lovely blogging pal Kat made for In The Pink last week, that I just had to give it a go!  Kat's was in pink.. (for our challenge) - so I tried to make something a little bit different... however, it was hard as really there's only one way to make a rolled paper tree!

It was so very easy to make though.... I used a wooden skewer to roll my paper around before glue-ing- and I used some bits of paper left from LOTV pads, combined with other scraps that were lying in my bit box in similar tones.  I just cut each roll a tiny bit shorter than the last... stuck them all together on a strip down the back... added a bit of corrugated card for the base, a bow,  then stuck the whole thing onto my kraft card square (cut with my Li'l Inkers Stitched Square die (are you getting fed up of seeing that die yet?? hehe).  I added a star - and it was done.  Not a bit of colouring in sight - just fingers covered in glue!

The letters are from a very, very old Hero Arts set.... but they do come in handy every now and again...

Hope you like this card... and that you'll maybe pop over to Kat's blog HERE to see her original, and PINK creation!!

Big hugs and Happy Crafting..
