Under the Weather...

Hi there...

It's another Bellarific Friday at Stamping Bella and this time we're creating with some of the wonderful new images from the recent release.

This Mochi Girl is definitely feeling under the weather, clutching her bottle of medicine and with her thermometer in her mouth, along with the ice pack on her head!

Unfortunately, the photograph makes it look like the sentiment isn't stamped straight - but in real life, it is - I promise!

Card Info:
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/04 R20
Hair - E23/25/27/29

Best Buds

Hi Peeps

I've got another CAS card to share today - this time using a Paper Smooches stamp and a Mama Elephant cover plate.

I coloured and fussy cut the image - then used the cover plate die for the white panel.  I adhered the image using 3D foam pads - then added some glitter and sequins.  Lastly, I cut a pink scalloped edge panel to mat and layer the panel on to... then all onto a card base.

Card Info:
Image and Sentiment - Paper Smooches Best Buds
Dies - Mama Elephant Scales Cover Plate
Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Scallop Rectangle
Colouring - Copics
Pinks - RV55/17/09
Yellows - Y18, YR23
Greens - YG23/17
Sequins and Glitter

I do like having a few of these type of cards handy - this could be for occasions other than birthdays too!

Floral Fusion

Hi Peeps...

I'm sharing a card today using a cover plate die from MFT that's been in my stash for years and never been used for a card...  and as it's a truly beautiful die, I knew it needed to have it's day!  I came across it a couple of weeks back when I was searching for something else... so popped it on my desk ready to use.

Firstly, I used Distress Oxides to blend a panel for behind the diecut - using my favourite colours - Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber and Picked Raspberry.  Then I adhered the diecut, and matted both onto some strong pink cardstock.  I cut a strip for the sentiment, and used one from the stamp set that came free with the Creative Stamping magazine this month. I stamped and embossed it in gold -though that's very difficult to see on the photos - in real life it does look fab!

Card Info:
Die - MFT Floral Fusion
Sentiment - Free from Creative Stamping Magazine
Panel - Distress Oxide Colours listed above

Maybe you can see the gold a little better on this pic?

I finished the card off with some sequins and gems - and I'm happy with the result.  I think I'll be using this die lots more in the near future!

Flowers For You

Hi Peeps...

Today I played with the fabulous Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens stamp set which has sat in my stash for a little while waiting to be coloured.  I saw a card on Pinterest just using the single flower stamped multiple times and it inspired me to create!

Firstly I drew pencil lines equal distances apart so that I could line the flowers perfectly - then I used my Mini Misti to firstly stamp the flower in the centre, then move the card to either way over the pencil lines to stamp the rest.  It worked well... but this was my second attempt!

Card Info:
Image - Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens
Sentiment - Clearly Besotted Simply Said
Colouring - Copics
Orange - YR04/09
Pink - RV55/17
Purple - V25/15
Blue - B23/24
Aqua - BG45/49
Centres - YR23/24

Hope you like my CAS make today - cards like this really appeal to me as I'm definitely a 'less is more' person - except when it comes to my craft stash of course!!

Oddball Cupid

Hi Peeps...

Today I'm sharing a card that I made for my lovely man on Valentine's Day- I'd seen the fabulous Amy Young (from A Thousand Sheets of Paper) use this fabulous Oddball Cupid image from Stamping Bella, with the clouds background - so I asked her permission before making something similar.  Amy had coloured the clouds freehand with Copics - but I'm not that brave so I masked the image and used Distress Oxides and a Cloud Stencil!

Image and Sentiment - Stamping Bella Oddball Cupid
Die - MFT Stitched Rectangle
Stencil - MFT Small Clouds Stencil
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/04 R20

Grass - Prismacolour Pencils
Clouds - Distress Oxides - Tumbled Glass, Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar

Hope you like my make - my lovely man loved it - he knows he's mine anyway but it's nice to be reminded!

Huggy Squidgies

Hi there...

Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm back today with another make for Bellarific Friday at Stamping Bella - and today we're highlighting some of the fabulous vintage images you can still get from the website.  Vintage just means not from the current release - so there's plenty for us to choose from!

One of my favourite images is this one - it's the Huggy Squidgies stamp set (I've used it a few times) - which comes with another smaller stamp of the same image, some hearts, and a lovely sentiment too.  I just used the larger image for my card - with a large die cut word.

Firstly I created a panel blended with Distress Oxide inks - then I stencilled hearts on the panel using a stencil from Clearly Besotted.

Card Info:
Dies - MFT Pierced Circle, Hugs Word Die
Stencil - Clearly Besotted Lots of Love
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/04 R20

Clearly Besotted Garden Plushies....

Hi Lovelies...

Today I played with my new Garden Plushies from the February release at Clearly Besotted..  these are just two of the images included in the set!

I have a soft spot for Gnomes (even though they don't wear pink!) - so loved colouring this little lot..  then gave them a cloudy background using a cloud edge stencil.

Card Info:
Image and Sentiment - Clearly Besotted Garden Plushies
Die - MFT Stitched Rectangle
Paper - MFT Gingham
Colouring - Copics
Greens - YG23/17

Skin - E000/00/11/04 R20
Beards - T0/1/3
Browns - E23/25/27/29
Fishing Rod - N1/3
White Gel Pen

I decided to make my second card a yellow themed make - only because I had a yellow sheet of the gingham paper to hand!  I coloured the daisies yellow (and yes I've seen yellow daisies), then gave the whole background a sun-ray through a stencil.

I love the sentiment which is so apt!

Card Info:
Image and Sentiment - Clearly Besotted Garden Plushies
Die - MFT Stitched Rectangle
Paper - MFT Gingham
Stencil - MFT Sun-ray
Colouring - Copics

Birthday Balloon Shaker

Hi Peeps...

I've been playing with some of my new stash from Pretty Pink Posh - I do love their goodies!

Firstly I used their Birthday Background Stencil - blending Distress Oxides through the stencil to create the background.  I then die-cut the balloon shape from the background to create the shaker space.  I adhered clear acetate behind, then cut another balloon shape to give some height.  I coloured the second balloon shape - before adhering them together and popping them back onto the acetate in the space left.

Card Info:
Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Background Stencil
Pretty Pink Posh Balloon Shaker Die
Distress Oxide Inks
Little Lucy's Sprinkles for Shaker
Hemp Cord for Bow

I used 3D foam tape to lift the front of the card to give the shaker space - and it was done!

Hope you like my make today..

Prosecco Time??

Hi Again..

Yes I back - two in one day!!  This time my card is using one of the fabulous new images from Wendy at All Dressed Up Digital Stamps.

I love this classy lady in her beautifully elegant skirt..  so I just had to give her some pink and some sparkle!

Card Info:
Paper - Pink Petticoat Digital (no longer available)
Colouring - Copics
Hair - E42/43/44
Skin - E000/00/11/04 R20
Dress, Shoes and Gloves - RV0000/52/63/55/17

Glitter

I did a little bit of playing with her skirt - cutting the edge on the left with my craft knife so that it would overlap the patterned paper - I think it's effective.

Hope you like my make... don't forget to pop over to the All Dressed Up Facebook page to share your makes using these gorgeous digi images - and maybe join in the monthly challenge too - we'd love to see you there!
