I love you more than I love cupcakes....

Hi There Lovelies....

Does that cupcake make you feel hungry??  I certainly did, while I was colouring it!  I was drooling by the time I'd finished the frosting!

Our DT task at Stamping Bella this week was to create a project using chocolate - either chocolate coloured card, or something chocolatey - so I decided to go for both!  Of course, Edna is my favourite character - and I chose to use Edna With A Cupcake on Top...  she's struggling to keep it up in the air...  I think she's about to topple and end up with all that chocolate frosting all over her!

Card Info:
Sentiment - PC generated
Die - Lil' Inkers Stitched Circle
Paper - Lawn Fawn
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20

Dress - RV56/63/55

Hope you like what I did....

It's a Freeform week next Friday - so if you'd like to join in, you can use any current Stamping Bella image and click on the link on the Bellarific Friday post to add your creation..... or you could email it to emily@stampingbella.com - you could win some Bella Bucks!

Have a fab weekend...

Brittney Gives Thanks

Hi Lovelies..

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.  I went to the Dies To Die For Pop Up Shop near Brighouse...  it was lovely to see Tracy and Faye.... and of course, to spend 'a little' too!

Now, today is my last post for the Stamp AnnieThing DT - my three month term is over and although I've loved working with these fab images, I felt I had too much on, so couldn't do them justice.  I like to take time to enjoy what I'm crafting, and not end up feeling 'I have to...'  know what I mean??

Unfortunately, the image I chose to use is a digital image that I got free through Kit and Clowder a while back..  so it's now unavailable.  It's a shame, as it's perfect for this time of year.

Card Info:
Image - Stamp AnnieThing Brittney Gives Thanks
Sentiment - Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler
Embossing Folder - Cuttlebug
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Hair - E40/41/42/43
Cape - R24/46, E57
Dress - E23/25/27
Pumpkin - YR21/23/24
Enamel Dots

I love putting kraft card and brown together... and that embossing folder reminds me of trees, so I thought it'd be perfect.

Although it's always a little sad to leave a DT, I wish Stamp AnnieThing well for the future, and no doubt will see the DT in blogland!

Viking Kids!

Hi Lovely Friends...

I have a card to share with you today that's a little different than my usual style... and I must admit, I was a bit wary of these little guys with their weapons...  but once I'd started colouring them, they behaved, and were an absolute joy to colour!

The image is another of the fabulous September release from CC Designs - this is 'Viking Kids'.  In my world, that middle little guy is shouting the 'happy birthday'!

Card Info:
Sentiment - PC Generated
Die - MFT Essential Borders
Paper - MFT
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Hair - Y00/21, YR31/21

Greens - YG61/63/67

I've got to admit to loving these little Vikings - I think they're the cutest Vikings I ever saw - especially the little guy on the left with his cuddly dinosaur.  And there's also another cutie in the set too - there are four altogether - but I couldn't fit the fourth on my card.. awwww!

Ava Loves to Celebrate!

Hi Lovelies...

It's time for another fabulous Bellarific Friday...  and we had to create our own background for this one..  which I loved doing!

Stamping Bella USA

I created by background by using Spun Sugar Distress Ink..  I masked two of the corners and blended the ink...  then peeled off the mask and sprinkled with water.  I was really pleased with the delicate effect it gave.

Uptown Girl Ava is one of my favourite images with her fab puff-ball skirt... and I'm loving colouring folds at the moment, so have created lots.  I sprinkled lots of gorgeous glitter onto her petticoat frill, and also on her cake!

Card Info:
Sentiment - Whimsy Stamps Die, MFT Essential Sentiments
Distress Ink - Spun Sugar
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Hair - C3/5/7/9
Dress and shoes - RV11/32/34
Glitter and Sequins

Hope you like my make and that you'll pop over to the Stamping Bella Blog later to join in with our next Bellarific Friday - the theme for next week is to use the photo below for inspiration...

A pair of Swiss Pixies from CC Designs

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends....

I have two cards to share with you..... both are from the wonderful CC Designs September release.

My first make is a tag - using the gorgeous Giving Lucy.  Believe it or not, I've really enjoyed using fall colours here... she certainly suits them.

Card Info:
Dies - CC Designs Make a Tag, MFT Stitched Scalloped Border
Paper - Doodlebug Designs Forest Friends
Colouring - Copics
Hair - C3/5/7/9
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Dress - E99, YR24/27
Tights - YR23/24
Shoes - E25/27
Button Twine and Enamel Dots

I fussy cut Lucy and popped her on 3D foam pads, so she stands out well from the tag... I always like to leave a tiny white border around the image too.

My second make is a card using the gorgeous Puffy Dress Heidi...  and I thought as she's ready to party, she deserved some pink and some glitter!

Card Info:
Paper - Authentique
MFT Double Stitched Rectangle, MFT Hearts
Colouring - Copics
Hair - E40/41/42/43
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Dress and Shoes - RV11/32/34
Tights - RV00/10
Shading - W0/1/3
Glitter and Ribbon

Hope you like my cards.

FLOWER POWER...

Hi Lovelies...

The time is whizzing by so quickly, that it's time for another challenge at In The Pink..  and for me, it's nice to get back to my favourite colour after all the fall colours I've used recently.

This time our challenge theme is:

FLOWER POWER

I decided to use one of my favourite sets of stamps on my cards... this is Mama Elephant Pretty Peonies.  I also dug out my Zig Clean Colour markers to give me the strong pink I wanted.  Peonies are one of my all time favourite flowers - and if you're a keen follower of my blog, you'll have seen my photos of the ones in our garden that are really beautiful when they're in flower.

Card Info:
Image - Mama Elephant Pretty Peonies
Sentiment - Pebbles Inc Rub On
Colouring - Zig Clean Colour Markers - Pink, Deep Pink and Pale Green
Sequins for Shaker Element
MFT - Stitched Square Frame Die

I wasn't at all sure when I finished this card whether I liked it or not... it came out differently than I expected - and I think is a little unbalanced.  Hmmm maybe lesson learned!

*****

Hope you'll pop over to In The Pink to join in the Flower Power fun...  You could win a fabulous £15 voucher to spend at Dies To Die For, thanks to the lovely Tracy for her generous sponsorship.

Back soon...
Big hugs

Hi Lovelies...

Well, I'm back with my last card of the week... and phew.... I can now go put my feet up for the weekend and catch up with all your lovely blogs..

Image may contain: text

And the reason I'm here... is it's RELEASE DAY at Stamp AnnieThing...  you can now get your hands on the wonderful stamps I've featured on my cards this week.  Today's card uses a fabulous girlie image called Abigail Enjoy The Show - the sentiment comes with the stamp, but I think you could use this image for lots of different occasions by using different sentiments.

Hair - E40/41/42/43/44

I wasn't at all sure how to colour the chair when I first stamped the image... but I'm really happy with how it turned out - it looks comfy!  These images from Stamp AnnieThing are so super clear, they really are a joy to colour.  Hope you'll pop over to their BLOG to see the fabulous creations my fellow teamies have come up with to inspire.

I've just been watching the news on how Hurricane Irma is hitting the Caribbean and is due to get to Florida over the weekend.  As Ann (the Ann from Stamp ANNiething.. d'oh) lives in Florida..  she's all battened down in readiness.  I can't imagine how scary that must feel.....  so I'm sending my love and Stay Safe wishes to her and all of my lovely friends over there.

Big hugs

Heidi Needs A Hug.....

Hi there...

Me again...  and today it's with my weekly Bellarific Friday DT card for Stamping Bella..

No automatic alt text available.

We needed to use the above sketch this week - so I didn't have to do much 'thinking'.. a good job really.... my brain was a little tired after all my cards this week.  Beginnings of the month are always busy in card-making circles.. but this one has been EXTRA busy!

Hope you like my make - and that you'll pop over to the Stamping Bella Blog later today to see what everyone came up with for the sketch - and to check out next week's criteria too - we have to 'Make Your Own Background' - that's going to be fun!

Preview Day 2 at Stamp AnnieThing

Hi Lovely Bloggers...

Image may contain: text

I'm back again, can't keep me down this week!  This is my second DT card for the wonderful September release at Stamp AnnieThing.  Meet Holly..  she's very much into designer handbags at the moment, and of course, has to have one matching her dress and shoes!  Her hair has been prettied and her make up is on, and she's ready to go out shopping!  But before she does, she wanted to give this card.... 'Especially for You'!  (Yes, OK, I make up stories about my cards...)

Card Info:
Paper - Authentique (and a scrap from my stash for her handbag)
Die - MFT double stitched rectangle
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Hair - E25/29/79
Dress and Shoes - R81/83/85/89
Enamel Dots

Hope you like what I did...  you can also pop over to the Stamp AnnieThing Blog to see what my lovely fellow teamies have come up with to inspire.

It's RELEASE DAY at CC Designs!

Hi Again Lovelies...

It's RELEASE DAY at CC Designs...  there are some fabulous images in this release... you'll be spoiled for choice..

Image may contain: text

For my card, I chose to use this little cutie.. her name is Heidi Headband (for obvious reasons).. and I decided to colour her in summer-time shades - as I'm trying to hold on to what little summer we've had!

Card Info:
Paper - Echo Park
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Hair - E25/27/79
Dress - G40/44/82, Y21/35/38
Shoes - E25/27
Socks - W0/1
Shading - B0000/000
Enamel Dot for centre of flower

I altered the shape of the die slightly to make it more square than rectangular, by putting it in the cuttlebug, rolling to half way, removing the image and turning it around, placing the die where required, then re-cutting from the other side.  This works with most regular shaped dies - and means we can get more use out of them!

Hope you like and that you'll pop over to the CC Designs Blog to see what my lovely teamies have made!

Stamp AnnieThing September Sneak Peek...

Hi All...

It's another busy week for me - the beginning of the month always is.  I'm back today with my first of this month's DT cards for the fabulous September release at Stamp AnnieThing..  there's some wonderful stamps to come!

Image may contain: text

This is Tommy - Thanks So Much - and this cool dude has a box of chocolates (or donuts!) in his hand as a thank you gift for someone special..

Card Info:
Die - MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle
Paper - Echo Park
Colouring - Copics
Hair - E40/41/42/43/44
Skin - E000/00/11/71, R20
Blue Jeans - B93/95/97/99
Shirt - B52, BG72/75
T Shirt - C0/1
Box - E31/33, R21/24
Shading - W0/1/2

The paper I used was double sided with the stripes on one side and the pattern on the other - so I knew it would match well. I cut the square, then cut across it diagonally - adding a strip of the stripes to cover the diagonal join.

Hope you like what I did - why not take a peek at the Stamp AnnieThing Blog to see what my fellow teamies have come up with to inspire.

I'll be back tomorrow with another make..

Hugs
