RAM Stamps Snowglobe

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm sharing a card made with one of the new digital images from RAM Stamps - this is called Snowglobe (for obvious reasons!)

I love colouring snowmen - or should I say shading them, as there's little colouring involved!  After I'd coloured him - I coloured the background, then used a white gel pen to create a snow scene.  I used a white colouring pencil to give the effect of light reflecting on the snowglobe glass at the top right and I added glitter to the snow that this little guy is standing on.  Then I stamped a little sentiment on the base of the globe, and fussy cut the image, before mounting it onto a card panel that I'd dry embossed with a dotty background folder.

Card Info:
Sentiment - Pretty Pink Posh
Dotty Embossing Folder
Colouring - Copics
Snow - BV31/0000
Hat - C5/7/9 RV27/46 E57
Scarf - C1 R27/46 E57
Nose - YR04
Stars - Y15/18
Sky - B14/16
White Gel Pen and White Pencil
Glitter

Hope you like my lovely snowman as much as I enjoyed making this card.  Don't forget to pop over to the RAM Blog for more inspiration from the team.

Scrap Strips Cards

Hi Lovelies...

I've been inspired to create when I've seen cards using strips of scraps recently..  and as I have an OVERLOAD of scrap paper that I struggle to throw away.. I decided to play!

I cut lots of strips - around 1 cm wide, then adhered them to some acetate, with a slight gap between each strip... not quite enough to see the acetate properly to detract from the strips.  As you can see - not surprisingly, lots of my strips are pink! Then I put thin foam tape on the acetate behind the strips, and adhered to a diecut panel, finally adding a diecut flower and word to finish.

Dies Used:
Pink Fresh Studio Beautiful Blooms Dies
Spellbinders Sealed Wildflower Dies
Honey Bee Stamps Buzz Words Dies

I was thrilled with how these turned out.. and as there was only die-cutting involved, with dies already in my stash, they didn't take long and cost next to nothing!

Hope you like my makes today...

Stamping Bella North Pole Backdrop

Hi Lovelies...

Well, after the extremely sad news of last weekend, I'm struggling to write my first Bellarific Friday post since our lovely Emily passed away.  I think we're all trying to process that she is no longer here... but need to keep going - and crafting can provide a perfect therapy to focus on.

I'd planned to use this gorgeous North Pole Backdrop, so have done so.  It's such a fabulous background scene.. and needs only a sentiment to complete.  I stamped, coloured and masked the image - then blended Distress Inks for the sky, before splattering with white acrylic paint.  I finished with lots of glitter on the snow.

Card Info:
Die - MFT Stitched Rectangles
Distress Inks - Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire
Colouring - Copics
Trees - YG23/25
Snow - BV31/0000

Reds - R24/27/46 RV14
Sign - T3/5

RAM Stamps The Nutcracker Set

Hey Peeps...

Today I've used a fabulous digital stamp set from RAM Stamps called The Nutcracker...  it's a scene creator set and has lots of images that can be put together in whatever way you wish to create a scene.

I chose to use the gorgeous fairy with her friend the mouse, in front of the Christmas tree.  The images are so easy to use and there's no masking required... it's so easy to 'send to back' when you want, for instance, the tree in the background and the characters in the front.

After adding the sentiment, then printing, I coloured the image and added some glitter.  Then I added some die cut stars to the background and it was done.

Card Info:
Dies - MFT Stitched Rectangles, Tiny Stars
Colouring - Copics
Tree - G82/20 YG11 E31/33 Lights - Y38
Fairy - R81/83/85 YR61/65 C0/1 Hair - E21/23 Crown - Y18/38
Mouse - C0/1/2 Coat - R24/27/46 Pants - B01
Shading - W0/1/2/3
Glitter

Hope you like my make today - Christmas is drawing close and I still have lots more cards to share!

Altenew Rose Belle Vue

Hi Lovelies...

I got this fabulous Altenew Rose Belle Vue Embossing folder recently - after being inspired by Therese at @lostinpaper - and decided to use some of my Distress Ink pads to watercolour with.  I did try colouring first before embossing as Therese had done, but I struggled getting the colours in the right places.... so for this one I coloured AFTER I'd embossed.

Then I splattered with gold watercolour, adding a few gold sequins and a sentiment before adhering to my card base - and it was done!

Hope you like...
