Jingle All The Way!!

Hi Peeps....

Well I think I've officially got my 'red and green' hat on today... If you remember a couple of weeks back when I needed a little colouring therapy, I coloured quite a few of these little Santas.  Mine are digis that I bought originally from Birdie Brown when she first drew them... but now they're available as a clear stamp set from My Favourite Things.

So I had to come up with cards to put my Santas on!!  I fussy cut them and also the little girls and reindeers (more therapy as I am addicted to fussy cutting!).. and this is my first make with them...

MIA...

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends...

Firstly, apologies as I've been MIA this week...  I've not been getting to see any blogs etc as my mind has been elsewhere.  Sadly, my eldest brother passed away on Monday - and it's knocked me sideways a bit.  He hadn't been in the best of health for a little while - but we all thought he was invincible as he was managing to get through and live with problems that others would have given up on long ago.  He was a fair few years older than me (he was 80), and we didn't see each other that often...  but I'll miss him.

Unfortunately, my anxiety problem is rearing it's head because of this - it's something I'd so love to rid myself of, but it seems that it just lies dormant for a while till next it feels like cropping up to create havoc!  I'm not sure how I'll face the funeral which is this Thursday... I'll really have to put on my big girl pants and a brave face!

So.....  'merry' is something I've not really felt lately - but decided to have a go anyway yesterday at getting back into my craft room.  I'd bought this little robins stamp last time I was at Samuel Taylors - and I had this design 'brewing' - know what I mean?

Card Info:
Image - Wild Rose Studio Robins on Branch
Dies - Oval Spellbinders, Clearly Besotted 'Merry'
Colouring - Copics
Robins - E30/31/33/34/37, R24/46/20,
Hats - R24/46, C0/1 (for fur)
Holly - YG63/G99
Branch - E37
Mirri Card, Nuvo Drops (Berry Red), Gems and Glitter

The robins proved more difficult to colour than I thought they would - and I still haven't got them right (maybe it was the frame of mind I was in) - but they are the best I can do at the mo.

Right...... time for me to do some clearing up in my craft room - it looks like a bomb has hit it!!

Big hugs to all...

Little Pixie Angel...

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends..

Happy Monday all!

I'm back with another of the fabulous October release from CC Designs - this time it's the turn of one of the Little Pixie Angels..

I kept my card relatively CAS - as I thought she needed to be centre stage... and also kept the colouring quite soft - apart from her hair which actually turned out more vivid that I'd really wanted!  Ah well....

And of course, any self-respecting angel has to have some glitter, doesn't she??

Card info:
Colouring - Copics
Hair - YR31, E33/35
Skin - E000/00/11, R20
Dress - RV91/93/95, C0/1
Shoes - C1/2/3
Glitter and Gems

This fabulous set includes two gorgeous angels and some sentiments too, so it's really good value!

Hope you're all enjoying the turning of the season - autumn is definitely in the air now and the leaves are turning...  and we have our central heating on!!

Big hugs

Reindeer Games...

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends

Well as we're into October now (where did the year go?!!), it's time for another fabulous release from CC Designs. You'll adore the images in this release... I know I do - and I think you'll be spoiled for choice!  You'll have to wait until Thursday though for Release Day - and we'll be having a Blog Hop too...

My first card for the new release uses an image from a set called Reindeer Games - this set has three fabulous reindeer images and sentiments too - what more could you ask?

Card Info
Paper - LOTV Nitwits
Colouring - Copics
Deer - E30/31/33/34/37/47
Reds - R24/39/46
Greens - G40, YG63
Glossy Accents for his nose

I used the diagonal stripe from the gorgeous Holiday Backgrounds stamps by inking it up and stamping with Versamark, then sprinkling with glittery embossing powder and heat embossing.  It wasn't easy to get it to show up on camera - but in real life it glistens!

Hope you like what I did...  I do like using traditional Christmas colours at times (when I'm not using pink!), and I think I certainly tick that box with this one!

Big hugs...
