Little Party

Hi there...

It's my last card as Guest Designer for The Greeting Farm through March (it's gone by so quickly!) - but hopefully you'll like what I created as much as I enjoyed the creating.

For this card, firstly I did a bit of watercolouring to create the background.  I used Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry and Mermaid Lagoon - and where the colours overlap, you get an orange and a purple too - yay!  After this was dry, I did a quick bit of splattering with water and white paint to give texture.  I used a rectangular stitched die to create my card panel, which I then matted onto a matching pink card base.

Next, I coloured the girlie images with my Copics, before fussy cutting them.  I adhered them to the water-coloured background with 3D foam pads. I added some glitter and gems, then used one of the sentiments from the set to finish.

Card Info:

Honeypie Sweet Bouquet

Hi Lovelies...

For my card today, I've been playing with an image from Polka Doodles... she's so cute and really easy to colour!

Firstly, I diecut a card panel, then used some Distress Oxide Speckled Egg blended over one corner only, fading it out, to give a background for the image.  I then coloured and fussy cut the image, adhering to the card base with foam pads.

Rainbow Dandy

Hi Lovelies...

It's Bellarific Friday again - and today we're highlighting some of the fabulous new release stamps!  I'm in love with the new Dandy Lions - this one is Rainbow Dandy - sitting there with his rainbow in his hand!

I coloured the image with Copics apart from his mane...  then I used my Prismacolour Pencils to try to give a multicoloured effect..  I think it worked!  I've also shaded around the image and created the grass with the pencils - adding white gel pen dots to the blue shading.

Freestyle Flowers

Hi There...

Today I'm sharing a card I made using the gorgeous Freestyle Flowers from Simon Says Stamp..   it's a pretty simple one, but I enjoyed how it turned out.

Firstly, I created a slimline card panel by using a stitched rectangle die - but elongating it by using from both ends through my diecutting machine.  Then I blended Distress Oxides - Kitsch Flamingo, Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry.  After that was dry, I splattered with water, then gold Gansai Tambo watercolour paint and left it all to dry.

I then stamped the image and sentiment onto the panel.  I stamped a second image of the flowers onto scrap white card and coloured the flower heads, before fussy cutting them - I was then able to add the cut flowers with foam pads to give depth to the image.

Colouring - Copics

Cheeky Shop!

Hi Lovelies...

I'm Guest Designing throughout March for The Greeting Farm - and I'm loving using their amazing Digital Images - so easy to resize and play around to get them just right on your card.

Today I've used Cheeky Shop - she comes along with all the bags and bits to show she's been spending her money!  I coloured and fussy cut her before creating the card base.  To do that, I put three of the store fronts together on my document, before printing out, then colouring.  It's so easy to place different items (they come along in the package) in the window of the stores - I loved playing!  Then I die cut a square, with a circle cut out in the centre so the stores would show through - giving a kind of 3D effect.

Card Info:
Cheeky Girl - Hair E41/42/43, Skin E000/01/11 R20, Dress RV52/63/55, Boots C3/5
Store Fronts - N0/1/3/5 RV52/63/55 B60/63
Bags - RV91/93 and C0/1
Glitter and White Gel Pen

Hope you like my make today as much as I loved making it.

Daddy's Little Girl

Hi again...

Today I only have one card from the Stamping Bella new release (available on Monday) to share.  This one is called Daddy's Little Girl - awwww... I got emotional colouring this image!  It's such a strong bond between a Daddy and his little girl...  that hug is certainly a precious moment.

I coloured and fussy cut the image... then created a background using Distress Inks and a splatter effect over half of my card panel.  I popped the sentiment over the blended background first, then splattered, then realised I should have done it the other way around, as some of my splatters went over my sentiment.  Ah well, we live and learn!

Stamping Bella Sneak Peeks Day 1 - YAYYY!

Hi Lovelies...

Yayyy.... it's sneak peek time for the new release at Stamping Bella!

Now this post is picture heavy - as there are so many lovely stamps to be released on Monday 22nd March - I promise you'll love them all!  So grab yourself a cuppa, put your feet up and read on!

My first card is using Rainbow Tiny Townie - she's sooooo darn cute!  I coloured and fussy cut her, then cut some puffy cloud borders for her to walk through...  creating a Distress Ink background where I've stamped the sentiment that comes in the set.

Card Info:

Glitter and Gems

Next we have Tiny Townie Unicorn - and of course, in my view, she had to be coloured pink!

Again, I coloured and fussy cut the image, also using cloud border dies for the background.  I used a stencil for the rays - first of all using Distress Oxides for the base, using a deeper pink through the stencil to create the rays.  Again, the sentiment comes along with the image.

Card Info:

MFT Radiating Rays Stencil

Now we have some of my favourite Curvy Girls - I LOVE these girlies!

First is Curvy Girl Big Hug..  she's so sweet giving her little girl the biggest hug!  I've given the youngster red hair - just like my gorgeous little grand-daughter.

Again, I coloured and fussy cut the image... then I blended Distress Oxides through a rectangle stencil.  I adhered the image to the card and popped the sentiment in the coloured panel...  with some gems to finish.  I've got to say, I LOVE that sentiment and it is sooooo darn true!

Daughter - Hair Y04/18 E08/18, Dress B01 BG02

Gems

For my next card, I've used the fabulous Curvy Girl Mom - I thought the image would suit a slimline card and I love that it turned out well, even though not easy to photograph!

More fussy cutting followed (yes my scissors were hot by this time!) - then I created a pale pink blended background before stencilling the falling hearts in a deeper colour.  I faded out the colour lower on the card so it would give the image a place to 'stand'!

And now for something completely different... I have a fabulous Oddball for you! This is Oddball Edgar Allen Poe...  he's fab!

This is my final fussy cut image for today...  but he was sooo worth it - with his raven sitting patiently on his arm!

Again I used a stencil for the background, and popped the sentiment in the white space.

Have a Fabulous Birthday!

Hi Lovelies...

I've had this fab die from Simon Says Stamp in my stash for a little while..  so yesterday, I took the chance to use it!

Firstly I created a blended background for behind the filigree parts using Distress Oxides in Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry.  Then, as you can see, I did a lot of matting and layering - using some gold mirri card to highlight the gold heat embossed sentiment.

Besties!

Hi Lovelies...

Today for our Bellarific Friday at Stamping Bella, I've used on of my favourite of the Curvy Girl images - it's called Besties - and is perfect for a girlie you're close to and who you share all your secrets with.

I blended a background using Distress Oxides, then cut a lattice panel for the top.  I coloured the girls and fussy cut them, so they could be adhered with foam pads to the lattice work.  I finished off with the sentiment, and some die cut stars in gold mirri card.

Easter Anya

Hi There

I've got some news! I’m thrilled and excited to be Guest Designing for The Greeting Farm throughout March!

Today I have coloured one of my favourite girlies… this is Easter Anya – and although I haven’t used her for an Easter creation this time, I think she’s just perfect for a ‘just because’ type card to send to someone special.

As this is a digital image, I used Copic Express-It card to print on, then coloured her with Copics before fussy cutting her.

Card Info:

Image - The Greeting Farm Easter Anya Digital Stamp

Sentiment - The Stamp Market Tons of Type

Die - MFT Stitched Rectangles

Colouring - Copics

Skin – E000/01/11 R20

Hair – E11/13/15

Dress – V01/04

Hat – E50/51

Flower and Boots – RV63/55

Rabbit – T0/1

I created the background by using Distress Inks – Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord, Wilted Violet and Kitch Flamingo – I graduated the colours so they gave me a white space for the image.  Then I splattered with some water, also white, purple and gold paint.

I finished by using a little Hey There sentiment – just to say hello.

I cut the panel with a Stitched Rectangle Die, then matted and layered with some purple card to match the colours I’d used.

I hope you like my make today – thanks so much for stopping by.

Happy Crafting…
