A little bit scary....

Hi Lovely Bloggers....

YES - you are in the right place!!  This is just me having a little play at zombie colouring.........  about as far from pink and girlie as it's possible to get!  But the glitter did have to come out......  Well.... every self-respecting zombie has to have a bit of sparkle doesn't she???

It's my turn at Whimsie Doodles today...  and I chose to use Frankie's Girl.. she even scared me while I was colouring her - no doubt I'll have nightmares tonight!

Materials:
Colouring - Copics
T1/3/5 and N4/5 plus a little bit of YG03
Tag sponged and blended with Distress Inks - Pumice and Black Soot

I think this is the last of my Halloween creations for this year...  time to put the cobwebs away..

Big hugs

OK... enough of Christmas for a little while... I'm back to my pink (as requested by Kat!).

She's just so cute!

Now... I just wanted to home in on this pic below - it's one of the 'Faye-Special' puffy hearts... I've been wanting to learn how to make these look like they're cushioned  for a while now - and it was one of the fab things I learned at her recent workshop... yay!!!  (Sorry the photo is a bit close so showing the blending worse than it is in real life... but you can see what I mean!)

Hope you like what I did with Olive today and you'll pop over to the Little Miss Muffet Stamps blog or Facebook page to check out the gorgeous creations by the lovely DT members..

Big hugs - Have a fab week!

Hi Lovely Bloggers..

OK.... I'm trying to hang on to a bit of summer with this card for Little Miss Muffet Stamps DT...  (ahem).... actually my printer died and this was the only image I had printed out a little while back that I was able to colour!

This is one of the lovely Polka Dot Pals - she's Trixie...  and I loved colouring her!  I thought she should be sitting on the grass on a sunny day..  so here she is..

I spend a fab day yesterday with the lovely Faye - she came to give another blogger (Sue) and me a Copic workshop.  It was so exciting to meet up and have fellow crafters in the house.....  and I can't believe how fast the time went!  Hopefully I did learn too..  and will try to put what I learned into practice very soon!

A Little Boobie Love

Hi Lovely Bloggers...

Hope you're all well and looking forward to a brand new challenge over at In The Pink!

As it's Breast Cancer Awareness month, we decided to go with a challenge in their honour as most of know someone who has been affected...  so the theme is...

PINK RIBBON

I chose to use a special Breast Cancer Awareness image by Saturated Canary - this is the very apt Boobie Love!

Materials:
Image - Saturated Canary Boobie Love
Paper - Pink Petticoat
Colouring - Copics
Skin E000/00/21/11/04, R20
Pink Hair and Top - RV91/93/95
Pink Trousers - R81/83/85
Shading B0000/000
Glitter, Glossy Accents, Ribbon and Gem Buckle from stash

Unfortunately, as I was so very late finishing my card this time, the other Pink Ladies put me on the naughty step (!)... so when I tried to photograph it, the light had gone and the pink actually looks a bit like lilac!  Ooops! It really is pink though.... you know me - it would have to be!

Our fab sponsor this time is The Paper Nest Dolls - you can win a $15 voucher (exc of shipping) - take a look at the fabulous digi images and stamps in their store!

Hope you'll join in and that we'll see you over at In The Pink!

Big hugs and Happy Crafting..

A Little Prayer...

Hi Lovely Bloggers...

Yes.... I'm here with another DT card using a fabulous stamp from the new release by CC Designs.. have you seen them yet??  So many lovely stamps to choose from!

This is one of the new Roberto's Rascals - Praying Twila..  with a mischievous glint in her eye!  It reminds me of when my daughters used to be in their Nativity Plays at primary school - there was always a little look sideways to see where Mum and Dad were sitting!

Materials:
(stamped with Versamark onto vellum and heat embossed)
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/21/11/04, R20
Hair - E21/34/23
Gown and Wings - C0/1/3/5
Background - B91/93 with a bit of B60 for the floor
Uni Posca White Pen
Glitter for halo and wings
Embossing paste used with stencil and glitter added
(you can never have too much sparkle!)

Although I used the square die - I did actually create a rectangle for the image.  I did this by taping the die onto the card to be used - running it partway through my diecutting machine (going into reverse to take it out backward!), then placing it (again with the tape) to exactly the size rectangle needed - and running it through the machine only partway again.  The idea is that you don't (either time) get to the other end of the square.  OK, that all sounded a bit mixed up - but I'm sure you know what I mean!  Maybe I need to do a video tutorial on it if you don't??

This card was sooooooo difficult to photograph as I used mirri card for the frames..  so I kept on getting a glint of reflection.  I hope you can see the effect.

Big hugs and Happy Crafting

LARKing around...

Hi Lovely Bloggers...

Yayyyyyyyyy - this is my 600th blog post!!

Here I am at last,  (because I'm late!), with my DT card for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  The challenge at the moment is Anything Goes - and nothing couldn't be more 'anything goes' (colourwise) than this! LOL!  I love this paper - so bright and colourful.......  and for once, I chose the paper and the pens BEFORE I started colouring.. so unusual for me, but so worth it!

Meet ' Polka Dot Pals Lark' - available HERE.

(you may notice that there is a hefty dose of PINK in there too for those that have been mentioning my lack of the fabulous colour lately!)

I'm happy with how this lovely little clown turned out...  hope you smile too.
