A little tale...


Hi Ladies

Today's card is my card for Sugar Nellie..  and I warn you, it is picture heavy!  I tried to take photos from all angles, to give you more of an idea of the effect... but still the 3D doesn't show up as well as it does IRL.   But hopefully it'll show you some of the depth.



I used The Story Teller for this card... it's available in digi at the moment..  and so it's perfect for colouring with Copics/Promarkers... in fact any alcohol marker.  I printed the image out twice, then fussy cut the toadstools and the fairy wings on the second.  Oooh ouch.... I do hate cutting through fairy wings - I always feel so mean!  

Only one tiny die was involved in this card... mainly my trusty guillotine..  and my favourite Martha Stewart fine scissors - then some 3D glue pads.

The weather was fabulous yesterday...  We took a trip to Harrogate in the morning then spent the afternoon hedge and lawn cutting....  today I need a rest - but I hope the sun stays with us!

    What a fantastic card Christine. The fussy cutting might have been fussy, but it was soooooo worth it. I love the grey mushrooms too. Beautiful card.
