Yayyyy... we have a sentiment on a card!

Morning!
Yes, this is me, with another card.... that's two in two days!  What's come over me?  Think it has something to do with my OH being at work all day yesterday and today!  But who's complaining when i get crafting time? LOL!  Today I'm off out to Harrogate with my DD... she has an interview this week and wants to look good!  Think the Next sale may be the place to go?

Now, onto the card....  Recipe as follows:
  • Nitwits Deer Friends Stamp Set
  • Paula Pascual Christmas Messages Sentiment Stamps
  • Sizzix Holly Embossing Folder - (seems to have been retired now - I may have had it for a while...)
  • Nesties - circle and scalloped circle
  • White, red and kraft cardstock
  • Craft Creations Red Polkadot paper (which is redder in real life - the pic has made it orange-y)
  • Copic pens
  • Glitter (of course......)

So there you have it....  and (as in the title)... I managed to put a sentiment on it!  He was a lovely little man to colour and I think he really pops out with the warm grey shadow around him... and he doesn't take that long to colour!

    Hope you get something sorted for next week, and wish her luck at the interview.

    Love the sweet card, and the sparkle comes out fab in the photo. He looks like a cute little guy and love that red paper.

    Hello Christine... oh he is cute! I love red and white cards.. but they just don't photograph well.. i can just imagine how striking this is in real life!

    Hi Christine, such a cute card. Great image, and perfectly coloured. Know just what you mean about sentiments - I never seem to have just the right phrase or size stamp, I know I could computer generate them (and I do sometimes) but I do love to stamp. Hope you have fun at Harrogate, best of luck to your daughter for the interview. Not keen on Next sales myself - such pushing and shoving as goes on, yuk! Sarah

    I love this little Santa - you've coloured him beautifully,and love the CAS approach. I wish I could do it myself, but I always make them look sparse! Try the Next sale online - my daughter got some great bargains today. xx Jill B
