Hi Peeps....
Today it's my turn to share a DT card for Little Miss Muffet Stamps - and this is for our current Anything Goes Challenge. I've got to say, I'm truly in love with this little Frogette... she's just too cute isn't she?!
Materials
Papers - The Girls Paperie - Paper Girl
- MFT Cherry Blossom Collection
Die: Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Borders
Sentiment: Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler
Colouring - Copics
Greens - G20, YV03/05/63
Pinks - RV91, R81/83/85/89
Froggie Texture on Green - T1/3, W1/2
Pretty Pink Posh Sequins
For interest, I just thought I'd also show you the difference in a photo dependant on the background colour used... see how using a deeper coloured pink background behind the card can truly alter the look of the shade of pink on the card? Amazing huh? And neither are the actual shade I used in real life.. so you'll just have to use your imagination! LOL!
Christine, I love everything about this card. From your stunning colouring of that gorgeous frogglette to your truly inspirational idea of putting that wonderful puffy clouds die cut on the diagonal...you are a super talented lady.

I would never have though of using that die in this way, but it works wonderfully, I love it. Love the cute image too, and so beautifully coloured.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right about the background affecting the card colours! :o)

Gorgeous! xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Christine! Love the way you layered the paper :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd just to make the different colours thing more fun... Everyone has different monitors/screens and different settings, so the chances of any two of us seeing the exact same shades are pretty slim to begin with! lol. x
Brilliant what a lovely image and such a fab design love that cloud border. I hate the way the colours change on different devices just hope someone gets it right sometime hugs Carole x
ReplyDeleteI'm lovin' that frog Christine, she's just the cutest!

Simply Paper Card Design
That little frog is so cute, it's a lovely card design.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the background altering the shades of colour on the card - strange!
Hugs, Avril xx
yep, I love the image too and I also love the layout of the card, the way you have used the cloud die, very clever.
ReplyDeleteLovely colours.

I love this darling card and the utterly gorgeous Frogette! The pretty DP peeking out in the corner under the border die looks so wonderful and the sequin clusters are just beautiful :-)
ReplyDeleteI do often think that photographing a card is just as hard as making it! Trying to get the colours in the photo to look like real life seems impossible and I always need a little help from the photo editing software!
Sammy makes a really good point about screens as well; our computer set-up at home has 2 screens (1 on the laptop and 1 extra monitor) and the colours look different on each!
Complicated stuff!
Big hugs, Kat xx
So very cute Christine! Your coloring amazes me as always! You have a way of bringing these fun images to life!
ReplyDeleteAdorable card Christine - your colouring is amazing and I love the LO.
ReplyDeleteHope you are well.
