Pink Petticoat New Home

Hi Lovelies...

I've gone back in time a little bit with my card today - it's very similar to one I made some years back now... but I needed a New Home card - so out this little stamp from Pink Petticoat came.  It came with a set of freebies on a magazine in about 2014... but still gets use now! I loved Pink Petticoat images when they existed, and have lots of their digis in my stash on the computer!

I stamped and coloured the image, shading around with blue then dotting with white gel pen.  I diecut that with a circular fancy die - then cut a fishtail flag from patterned paper for the image to sit on with 3D foam pads to adhere.

Card Info:
Image - Pink Petticoat (no longer available)
Sentiment - done on PC
Dies - MFT Stitched Fishtail Flag, Circle
Stampin Up Punch for sentiment
Colouring - Copics
Cottage - E40/41/43
Roof - R81/83/85
Hearts and Chimney Smoke - C1
Worm - W3
Windows Y21
Sky - B0000/000/01

This stamp came with a set of freebies on a magazine in about 2014... but still gets use now! I loved Pink Petticoat images when they existed, and have lots of their lovely digital images in my stash on the computer!

The recipients loved that I'd made them a card for their new home... and I'm always happy to make someone smile...

New home...

Hi Peeps..

Just a quickie post today - but I wanted to show you this little card I made for my daughter - she's just moved into a new apartment in London... and I know this image isn't 'apartment-like' - but it's one of my favourite little images so I knew I had to use it again.  And she's now received it so I'm safe to blog!

This is back to 'my type' of card... a bit CAS, a bit of pink, a bit of glitter... and a bit of frill.  Says it all really!! hehe!

The image is from Pink Petticoat - it was a magazine freebie a couple of years back... I used Copics and Prismacolour pencils to colour, the circle is a Stately Circles Spellbinder, and the paper is a digi from Raspberry Road.

See - I can be quick and not waffle when I want to!!  I've had a couple of these visual disturbance migraines over the last couple of days followed by a throbbing head.. and they're a bit scarey so I'm not tempting fate by staying on the computer too much!

Big Hugs to all and have a wonderful weekend..

At the risk of being .... boring.....

Hi Blogging Friends

Well, as the title says.......  at the risk of being boring, I have another pink card for you!!  Only this one is nothing to do with In The Pink..  I've made it for a very good friend of ours who has never made a card in her life....  but loves anything pink, girly and glittery......  So as she's recently moved into a bungalow, I thought this may suit her well.  And it had to be a very simple card, as I had to get it in the post quickly!!   Soooooo  boring it is I'm afraid..  LOL!

The image is a freebie that came with a magazine about 18 months ago I think....  it's a Pink Petticoat design - the free set that it came in are very handy to use... I love them all.. and have used quite a few of them.  My pink pens (which are never put away now...) just had to be used for the roof... with some warm greys for the little house itself.  I used my prismacolour pencils for the grass... somehow they always do the grass better than the pens...  I used a white gel pen for the dots around, and of course, then got out my glue pen and glamour dust (well i just had to.....)...  then a little sentiment generated on the PC and cut with a Stamping Up punch....  all put onto some fabulous digi paper that I'd downloaded yesterday from Sassy Designs - this one is called Ballet....  and it was done and ready to post.  So there you go!!

We've been absolutely amazed at the number of followers and entrants into the challenge at In The Pink....  it's certainly been keeping Sylvia and I busy - so not many other cards have been made lately..  But I did spend a morning with Sylvia who hosted her first Stamping Up workshop with some lovely ladies on Saturday..  her ideas are fab and we did a couple of lovely make'n'takes.....  and no, I'm not going to own up how much I spent..........  Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....

Big Hugs and Happy Crafting
