Stamping Bella Sylvia and the Sea Shell

Hi Lovelies...

For our Bellarific Friday cards this week, we're using images from the newest release.  I absolutely loved this Uptown Girl collecting her sea shells... so decided to colour her up.  I then fussy cut her (yes - I LOVE fussy cutting) and put her to one side while I created the background.

I used a pair of layering stencils for the sea, blending with lots of Distress Oxides.   Then I created the sand by using Antique Linen and Tea Dye blended together,  ripping the edge.  I added the sentiment to the sand.

Card Info:
Stencils - Honey Bee Layered Waves
Distress Oxides - Salvaged Patina, Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon,
Antique Linen and Tea Dye
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11 R20
Hair - E40/41/42/43
Dress - RV91/93/95
Bag - BG13
Shells - R21 YR021 T1 W1

I really enjoyed making this summery card - and can't wait for the next time we visit the beach to collect some shells.

Pink Fresh Studio Folk Floral

Hi Peeps...

Today I'm sharing a card I made with the gorgeous Pink Fresh Studio Folk Florals Stamp Set...  I couldn't wait to get my hands on this set when it was recently released.  Being in the UK, obviously there's a little wait before US stamps appear in our stores, but I was patient...  then on the day it arrived created this card straight away!

Firstly I coloured and diecut the image.  I didn't buy the stencils that go with the set, choosing to colour with my trusty Copics.  Then I created a background - using Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo and doing a little smooshing with the Bristol Smooth panel into the water diluted inks on the craft mat.  I splattered gold watercolour paint onto the panel, then diecut a white frame to sit the coloured image onto.

I diecut a sentiment in gold mirri card (the shadow in white), then I adhered the image and sentiment with 3D foam pads.

Card Info:
Image - Pink Fresh Studio Folk Florals
Die - Mama Elephant Framed Tags, Honey Bee Bitty Buzzwords
Colouring - Copics
Flowers - RV52/63/55 Y32

Rachelle Anne Miller My First Masked Ball

Hi There....

For this card, I've used the fabulous My First Masked Ball Digital Stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller - this little girl is all dressed up for fun and she's got her teddy clutched tightly in her hand, so he doesn't miss out!  I love that he also has a mask so no one can recognise him!!

I've added a strip of Distress Oxide Blending on the die cut card panel...  using some blues.  I then added a splattering of stars as she's going to the ball in the evening rather than the day time.  Then I coloured and fussy cut the image, adhering to the panel with 3D foam pads.

Hi Lovelies...

We have a colour inspiration photo for this week's Bellarific Friday at Stamping Bella....  this is the image we were to use colours from...

There's a beautiful light apricot/peach and a light olive green.  I chose to use this gorgeous Tiny Townie Loves Tea, creating a water-coloured background with Saltwater Taffy and Bundled Sage Distress Inks.

I coloured the Tiny Townie with Copics - then fussy cut and adhered her to the background, adding the sentiment that comes with the image.  I then matted the panel onto some matching cardstock, and it was done.

Hi Lovelies..

Today I'm sharing a card I made for my gorgeous grand-daughter - she was 4 years old last week and LOVES unicorns!!  Of course, her card just had to have lots of them... and I've got to say, she loved it!!!  I've tried to take a few pics to show it from different angles...

I've used the Lawn Fawn Platform Pop Up die set again for this, in combination with lots of other bits.

I just wanted to show the side of the card - as I had to get the 4 in somewhere!  The platform pop up die also has the word HELLO included...  soo I was able to make my grand-daughter's name - the only letter I didn't have was the I and that was easy to make by cutting the bottom off the L!

I've used a stencil and some embossing paste for the background - sprinkled with glitter.  Then after I coloured her, I popped her up on 3D foam pads.  I added the sentiment and some gems, then matted the whole panel to some matching pink card and it was done.

Stamping Bella Edna the Bumble Bee

Hi Peeps

Time for another Bellarific Friday - this time we're using stamps that aren't from the current release.... and as you know, one of my favourite characters is Edna (in any shape or form!)

I chose to use Edna the Bumble Bee and coloured her with lots of yellow and deep brown.  I then fussy cut her (yes even her antennae) ready to add to my card base.

I created the base by using an embossing folder, then creating a hexagon die cut shape - which I then smooshed with Distress Inks.  I used Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed and Fossilized Amber.  I adhered that panel onto the embossed base.

Card Info:

Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11 R20
Yellows - E15/19/38

Hope you'll pop over to the Stamping Bella Blog where you'll find more inspiration - or head over to the Sistahood Facebook Page to share and chat all things Bella related.

Have a lovely weekend all...
