Feeling Frosty

Hi Lovelies..

I've been playing with these gorgeous little snow-people from Sunny Studio Stamps...  aren't they the cutest?

After colouring them, I fussy cut them. I decided to create a background by die-cutting a rectangle frame from masking paper so that I could blend with Distress Inks though the inner bit of the rectangle.  I also masked a couple of snow drifts, to give some depth.

I added one of the sentiments from the stamp set - and it was done.  I like the effect that the masked background gives..  I splattered with some Picket Fence Distress Paint to give the snowy effect..  ooh and added a little sparkle too which you can't spot on the photos.
