Without change there would be no butterflies...

Hi Lovelies..

It's Friday.... so yay... it's Bellarific time at Stamping Bella.. and this time the Babes are highlighting images that aren't from the current release.

Now some of my all time favourite images are the wonderful Butterfly Girls - this one is Bess the Butterfly.  I went for pale lilacs to colour her - just delicate enough, although what looks like black on the edge of her wings is actually deep lilac.

I've done a little video below to show that I also used a Wink of Stella pen to give her dress some gorgeous sparkle.... it's so difficult to capture in a photo but I wanted to show you.

  2. Very, very pretty card, great choice of colours and I find that the WOS hardly show in daylight but in the evening when you have a light on it looks really fab.
    Have a nice weekend.

  4. Hi Christine, Yes I did go to Harrogate and we got there about 10 past 10 and got in pretty quickly once it opened, inside it wasn't too bad for about 10 minutes, it then became a nightmare, in fact it was a toil of a pleasure. When we got there the steward for parking had not started so we just parked where my friend wanted to park.
I also felt sorry for some of the folks in wheelchairs but there were a few that deliberately ran into you or tried to knock you over so they could get to the stand, it didn't happen to me but I saw it happen to quite a few people. What annoys me the most was the men, totally not interested at all but taking up room and space.
To be honest if I had gone on my own I would have been gone by 12 noon but as I was with two friends it was 2 p.m. before we left and to be honest I really don't know what they found to do all that time. To be honest I think it was the first time they had organised a show there and had no idea how many to expect as it seemed, like us, not many bought advanced tickets. Loads of complaints and the cafe was not much better either, not enough seating.
I did buy a few things but didn't spend as much as I would have.
To be honest I was really, really surprised how busy it was as there have been a lot of card makers that have fallen by the way side these past couple of years.
