Wryn The Mermaid

Hi Peeps....

I just thought I'd drop by with a card I made today while my lovely OH was at work - it's one of those 'just for fun' cards as I fell in love with this little lady and couldn't wait to use her!  I think we enjoy those 'fun' cards more sometimes, don't you?  When there's no time limit and no pressure...  And I sooooooo enjoyed colouring Wryn The Mermaid..  all that wonderful hair!  She's one of the wonderful new digi images available on Tiddly Inks this week.... check them out HERE... you won't be sorry... I promise!

I used my little blender tool with some gorgeous Distress Inks for the sea background... liberally sprinkled with some Martha Stewart tiny sequin stars....

Materials:
Embossing Folder
Distress Inks: Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers and Evergreen Bough
Glitter
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/21/11/04, R20
Hair - V01/12/06 RV66
Mermaid Body - BG10/11/23/72

I'd love to say welcome to my newest followers...  and thanks for joining me in my blogging adventures...

Biggest of crafty hugs...

  5. Sometimes I like to have a theme or commission to give me a starting point for my design but sometimes I really just want to do my own thing!
And this thing you have done here is absolutely stunning!
That is certainly a lot of hair to colour and you have made such an amazing job of it plus I LOVE the purple and the teeny white dot highlights :-)
Last week I wanted that fairy's pink hair and this week I want Wryn the mermaids purple hair!

The rest of your card is fab too; the DI star background looks sooooo good :-)

    Big hugs, Kat xx
