Without change there would be no butterflies...

Hi Lovelies..

It's Friday.... so yay... it's Bellarific time at Stamping Bella.. and this time the Babes are highlighting images that aren't from the current release.

Now some of my all time favourite images are the wonderful Butterfly Girls - this one is Bess the Butterfly.  I went for pale lilacs to colour her - just delicate enough, although what looks like black on the edge of her wings is actually deep lilac.

I've done a little video below to show that I also used a Wink of Stella pen to give her dress some gorgeous sparkle.... it's so difficult to capture in a photo but I wanted to show you.

Card Info:
Die - MFT Stitched Squares
Paper - Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/04 R20
Hair - C5/7/9
Butterfly - V000/01/12/15/17
Grounding N0/1
Shading B000/00

Hope you like my make today and that you'll pop over to the Stamping Bella Blog to see more inspiration - and also to the Stamping Bella Sistahood Facebook page.... we do love to see your makes using Stamping Bella images!

Have a Quacking Good Time!

Hi Lovelies...

It's been a busy week for me and I'm back yet again - this time with my Guest Designer card for Gerda Steiner Designs.

As Spring is just around the corner, I was inspired to use a cutie from the Lucky Duck stamp set.  I cut a panel of white cardstock with a rectangular die - then cut the circles with an inside/out stitched circle die to give the spaces for the ducks.  Lots of foam tape later, I ended up with my card.

Card Info:
Dies - MFT Stitched Rectangles, Lil' Inkers Inside/Out Stitched Circle
Lawn Fawn Stitched Borders
Colouring - Copics
Y15/17/18/38 YR24/14

The backgrounds to each circle were done with Distress Inks and Copics... I traced through the circles to the card so I knew where to colour - then added the die cut panel with the foam tape.

Hope you like my make today.. I'll be back tomorrow!

Have a Fairy Nice Day!

Hi there...

I'm so excited to say that I'm Guest Designing for The Greeting Farm throughout March! I absolutely adore their images and have lots in my craft stash - they stamp so clearly and are a joy to colour.

Today I'm using a cutie from the Little Fairies clear stamp set - and of course I chose to use my favourite colour - well, fairies have to have lots of pink, don't they??

I used the little tiny crown and the sentiment from the same stamp set - they go so perfectly together.

Card Info:
Dies - Uniquely Created Stitched Scalloped Circles, Lawn Fawn Stitched Borders
Paper - MFT
Colouring - Copics
Hair - RV52/63/55
Skin - E000/00/11/04 R20
Wings BV000/V00
Glitter and Gems
Distress Ink Broken China

After I'd coloured the fairy, I blended some Broken China Distress Ink onto the circle, then I fussy cut the fairy and adhered her with some double-sided foam tape.  I added glitter to her wings and crown so she has some lovely sparkle.

I hope you like my make today.

Sending Love

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm back in my CAS zone...  sharing a simple card I made with a stamp and die set from Pretty Pink Posh.

I used the Floral Hearts stamp set for the wreath, and a co-ordinating die set to fussy cut.  I adhered the wreath with foam pads to give it some height from the card, and stamped the sentiment in the centre.

Card Info:
Image and Sentiment - Pretty Pink Posh Floral Hearts
Dies - Pretty Pink Posh Floral Hearts, MFT Stitched Rectangle
Colouring - Copics
YG17, R83/85, RV 63/55
Glossy Accents, Glitter and Sequins to finish

I think this stamp set is going to be one that I use a lot - it really lends itself to lots of different occasions.

 Hi Lovelies..

Today I'm Guest Designing for the wonderful Gerda Steiner Designs..  and I've chosen to use this uber-cute bunny from the Hello Spring Stamp Set - as Spring (especially here in the UK) is just around the corner.

Flowers for you....

Hi Lovelies...

It's Bellarific time of the week again...  and today we're using an image from the Stamp of the Month (Floral Forest Backdrop) collection.  I chose to use this fabbie Garden Backdrop for my make - and also incorporated one of the gorgeous new stamps - this one is Teeny Tiny Townie with Bouquet!

I coloured the image and the backdrop with Copics - I used the colour map for the peonies that lovely Elaine (Marker Geek) provides..  then after it was coloured, added a greeting on the archway using another stamp - curving it slightly to match the arch.

Card Info:
Dies - Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Square, Lil' Inkers Stitched Square
Colouring - Copics
Sky - B0000/000
Grass - YG63/17/25/95
Ground - E31/33
Fence - N0/1/2/3
Peonies - RV11/34 R39
Bouquet Paper - G20/82
Hair - C5/7/9
Dress - RV63/55 R39

I did use some Prismacolour Pencils to give depth to parts of the flowers and the folds on the girl's dress..  I like the effect that gives.

Hope you'll pop over to the Stamping Bella Blog to see more inspiration from the Bella Babes...  and that you'll also drop by our Sistahood Facebook page to share your Stamping Bella makes... and also join in the challenge fun!

Have a good (crafty) weekend all..

Heidi Needs A Hug

Hi Lovelies..

I'm back again, this time with my Bellarific Friday card for Stamping Bella...  and this week we are able to use an older stamp...  which is brilliant as I have LOTS (and I mean LOTS) of Stamping Bella rubbah goodness to choose from!

As it's nearly Valentine's Day - and also nearly Spring - I opted to use this Tiny Townie with her gorgeous chickie friends..  and decided to try colouring with my Polychromos.  Hmmm...  I don't think I've mastered the technique as yet, and know they'll get put away in the cupboard for 'another day!'  I don't seem to get them to blend well - even using Sansodor.  Any tips gratefully received!

Card Info:
Paper - MFT
Colouring - Polychromos

Please don't look too closely at the blending..  it's not so bad from a distance!

Don't forget to pop over to the Stamping Bella Blog to see what the other lovely Baberoonies have come up with to inspire...  and also to the Sistahood Facebook page... you could win Bella Bucks to spend on the website if you enter the monthly challenge!

Love You To The Stars and Back

Hi Lovlies..

It's time for a fabulous new release from All Dressed Up Digital Stamps.. and my goodness... this release is awesome!  My card uses the gorgeous Stars and Back.... isn't she just sooooo gorgeous?

I masked the image, then used my Distress Oxides to blend the background - adding a strip of DP down one side with some glitter card peeking out.  I splattered the Distress Oxides with water and also white acrylic paint to create the starry background.

Card Info:
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/04, R20
Pinks - RV52/55/63/66
Silvers - C0/1/2

Hope you'll pop over the the All Dressed Up Facebook Page to see what my lovely fellow DT members have come up with to inspire...  and don't forget, we'd also love to see what you create with All Dressed Up images.

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm thinking BRIGHT colours.... it's snowy outside and the sky is very gray.... but in here I'm going colourful!!!
