This image is called Merry and Bright... and I thought deserved to be just that...  so I chose reds as her main colour!!

And wonderful news - she's available today as a FREEBIE over at Kit and Clowder as part of their Advent Calendar celebrations!

I decided to go with the traditional colours for her..  and had what I thought was the perfect paper to co-ordinate!

Reindeer Games...

Hi Lovely Blogging Pals...

I have a 'just for fun' card to share with you today...  I coloured some little reindeer from Mama Elephant a week or so ago - then got some fabulous inspiration from a lovely crafty friend - Sue - who had used this image on some fabulous tags.  So thanks Sue...   I turned mine into a little 4" x 4" card - hope you like!

It's Party Season!!

Pingu time...

Hi Peeps....

I'm back with a little Pingu...  and this one is as I like to be - all wrapped up for the chilly winter with a woolly hat and scarf.... and enjoying a lovely warming hot chocolate with pink marshmallows!!

We've not long got home from a cinema trip - we went to the new Everyman Cinema in Harrogate to see Arrival with Amy Adams.  It's the first time we've been to that cinema and really enjoyed the experience...  such friendly staff and then there's a bar so you can take drinks into the film...  and there's two seater sofas and cushions for extra comfort!!  We'll definitely be going again!  As for the film....  I enjoyed it - but it left me slightly confused!!  If anyone has seen it and understands the ending - please let me know!

Today I have a card to share using one of the sweet Roberto's Rascals Snowies images from CC Designs...  this little guy is just SO cute listening to that robin sing!  Their song is one of the sweetest songs we hear in the garden..  up their with the blackbirds and the thrushes.

There are four images in this fab set - I know I'll be using more very soon as they are all so gorgeous!  I gave this little guy extra red cheeks as he's out in the cold.... brrrrr!!

Santa is STUCK!

Hey Lovely Blogging Buddies....

I'm back yet again!!  This time I have a lovely little Santa to share with you!  But he's in a bit of a difficult situation to say the least...  he's got himself stuck!!  I hope no-one lights a fire in the hearth - or he'll jump out fast!!

I tried another snowy sky - this time I used Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks, with a little Scattered Straw around the chimney.  Again, I tried the splatter technique with my white paint - but I'm still not happy with the result.... one day I'll get it right!  He looks like he's in a bit of a blizzard this time!  I've tried to make the glittery base of the card look like a roof full of snow so the chimney is sticking up from it...  not sure that's succeeded either!  But it's all sparkly and that makes me happy....
