Hi Lovelies...
I've been in a very autumnal mood this week, so I dug out my leaf dies and colours to create this card.
Firstly I die cut the leaf, then coloured it using Distress Inks and Oxides smooshed onto the card. Then after it had dried, I splattered it with gold watercolour paint. I then cut a second leaf but this time from gold mirri card... and I adhered this second leaf behind the first but just slightly off centre to the first in parts so that the gold shows.
I then die cut two circles - one from white and one slightly larger from gold mirri. I used an embossing folder on the white to give texture. I adhered these together - again, so that the gold is only showing a tiny bit around the edge. I adhered the leaf to the centre of the circle.
Then lastly, I created the background. I printed a sentiment that I'd created on the PC, then die cut the stitched square. I added some brown card stock to one side, then added a tiny strip of gold. I finished by added the circle and leaf.
