Hi Lovelies...
I'm running a bit late with this card, as it's Mother's Day here in the UK on Sunday this week! But here it is. I lost my own Mum a long time ago now - back in 1989 - and I still miss her. So this card is for her memory, and for all the Mum's out there who deserve it!
I've used a set of tulip dies - I think I bought them from Amazon, but I've had them a while. I saw a lovely card by Chris Stokes recently using them, and it prompted me to dig this set out and colour them up!
I used my Copics to colour them, with a touch of white gel pen. I then created my card base, using a slatted rectangle die for the heads to sit against. I adhered that with foam tape onto a square stitched diecut panel. Then I added the tulips which I'd shaped with an embossing tool. Lastly, I used a sentiment from a Clearly Besotted Miniature Type set, which I embossing in Rose Gold, and added some rose gold card behind the strip to make it stand out.
Card Info:
Dies - Tulip Set from Amazon (sorry no name)
Slatted Rectangles from Craft Addiction UK
Stitched Squares from Lil' Inkers
Sentiment - Clearly Besotted Miniature Type
Colouring - Copics
Flowers RV14/17
Leaves - G21/24/82
White Gel Pen
Hope you like my make today, and that all you Mum's out there in the UK have a fabulous day on Sunday, and in the rest of the world, a wonderful day when you do celebrate it!
Big hugs..
