Petunia's in Love....

Hi Lovely Friends...

I had me a little playtime yesterday and decided to have a little go with my Prismacolour Pencils - mainly because I'd invested in a 'posh' pencil sharpener this week - and oh my goodness, it works!

But my colouring/blending with these pencils needs a lot more practice...  it's years since I used them properly, so maybe they've deteriorated??  I don't know...  or maybe the blending fluid has gone off..... anyway, they weren't happy blending!  But I carried on, just to see what it would end up like..

Dies - MFT
Sentiment done on PC (remember the little Piggin' ornaments?)
Paper - Scrap from my stash
Prismacolour Pencils
Sequins and glitter

I still have one of the little ornaments I'm talking about.... my daughter bought it for me years ago and it still sits on my kitchen windowledge!!

Anyway, hope you like what I did and that you'll be kind about my blending!

Big hugs

  4. Blimey girl, that's piggin' cute! I don't care what anyone says, blending pencils is a skill acquired by intimate knowledge of the medium, even colours in the same brand behave differently, it's just practice practice and, yup, more practice! Love this pig. Hugs xx

  5. Still giggling over this fabulous image and the sentiment. What a superb card.
Pity it is not onions instead of roses as the song goes she would be a "lonely little Petunia in an onion patch"
On that note I had better go.
