Step AWAY from the pink pens...

Hi Blogging Buddies....

Yes - someone is going to have to make me do JUST THAT in the near future... step AWAY from the pink pens...  or should I just hide them in a drawer?  When I look at an uncoloured image, then up at my Copic storage unit... my eye is immediately drawn to the pink section!  I really will try to bring in some other colours - in the near future - promise!  I'm even boring myself now (even though they are all different shades of pink that I've used lately... honest!)

Soooo... today's card is my DT card for Whimsie Doodles - and being as Valentines Day is nearly here, I've done yet another card for the occasion!

This little lady is called Heart Strings and is available at Whimsie Doodles HERE.  Like all of Melyssa's images, she was a delight to colour..  and so easy to fussy cut too.

Materials used:
Papers - Nitwits Valentine
Dies: Nellies Multi Frames Rectangle, MFT Die-Namics Sentiment Strips,
Simon Says Stamp Sending word die
Simon Says Stamp Wishing Sentiments Clear Stamp Set
Crafts Too Embossing Folder
Copics:
Skin E000/00/21/11/04 R20
Hair - E21/34/23
Pinks - RV0000/00/63/52/55/17 R85
Greens - G20/YG05

You can always take a peek at Melyssa's other wonderful images too - by clicking on the logo below - you can see them all!

Big hugs and Happy Crafting..

  17. Eeeep, Christine, you did not just say that! Never hide the pink pens!
Ok, I do know what you mean though, and a break from pink is nice sometimes :-)

I still love this card in pink though, especially the utterly fabulous way you did the sentiment with the combo of die and stamp :-)

    Big hugs, Kat xx
