All Dressed Up time...

Hi Ladies

I'm back yet again with another card.... this time it's for our Monochrome challenge at All Dressed Up.  Now I decided to opt for WAY OUT of my (pretty pink) comfort zone and go the whole hog - I chose to do Black and White!

I chose to use one of Wendy's fabulous March release images... called 'A Little Me Time' (she's available HERE)... and that looks like what she's having in the hustle bustle of the city... she's ordered a cupcake!! LOL!  I do hope she also ordered a cafe latte to go with it...

I coloured her with my Copics - all the C's were in use trying to capture the monochrome effect..  hope I did it justice.  On the whole - I'm not sure of this one..  but I gave it a go is all I can say!

The skyline is a Memory Box Die...  the black and white dotty paper was from my stash, and I used the swiss dots embossing folder for the white.  The word dies are from Simon Says Stamp.  I just added a few gems and a bit of glitter here and there to give her some sparkle.

Pop over to the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog to see what my lovely teamies have come up with for this one...  they've all got a little more imagination than me I think!! hehe!

Now... to change the subject and before I disappear (and also for those that didn't see this on Facebook)....  just take a look at what my lovely daughter Emma made for me for Mother's Day.... yes MADE!!

She designed it in Photoshop using the chalkboard technique then had it printed out and added the buttons - then framed it!  I LOVE it cos she has me just right..... that's exactly what happens when I try to tidy up.  But isn't she clever doing the design???  A crafter's daughter huh???  Both of my lovely daughters have creativity in their souls....  Clare is more into baking and cooking...  I can't wait till she's back in this country so I get to sample her cupcakes again while she experiments... they're YUMMY!!

Big Hugs and Happy Crafting
