It's Release Day at CC Designs!

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends.....

Hope you said White Rabbits this morning for the 1st of the month... yes?  Or is it just me that's so superstitious I have to do that, salute magpies, uncross knives, not pass the salt, etc, etc...?

OK, you may be forgiven for thinking you've come to the wrong blog in the near future.... because I've been working on some very autumnal (fall) images from the wonderful new release at CC Designs!  So no pink, no glitter...... and believe it or not, I've LOVED colouring them!!  Do you think I'm ill???  Needing my temperature taken?  LOL!!

The first one I'm showing is the fabulous Scarecrow Henry from the Roberto's Rascals range...  and what can I say more than I so enjoyed playing with this little guy...  all the fussy cutting was worth while!

Morning lovely bloggers......

Well....... it's a wet bank holiday here in the UK - typical of our bank holiday weather unfortunately - they're generally a wash out and all those that wanted to go out and play, are stuck in!!  I'm happy though - it means I can play in my craft room!

And now for my LMMS DT card......  (as you know, creating a male card is not my favourite thing to do), but to fit in with our 'For the Boys' theme at Little Miss Muffet Stamps - I used Polka Dot Pals Andy - and guess what?  Again, I really enjoyed the bright colouring!  Something really is coming over me.........  and I LIKE it! LOL!  I still ADORE my pink of course........  but getting to love so many other stronger colours..  a whole new world!!

Well it's Monday, but in my world that's good - as it means my lovely man has worked all weekend, and can now look forward to a day off mid-week and then next weekend off too!  So it's his 'hump-day' over with and we have nice days to come!!

It's In The Pink time again...  (yes it DOES come round fast - or is that just for me?)

Our theme this time is

FLY AWAY - 
WITH THE OPTION OF 'PLUS ONE' OTHER COLOUR

So...... the possibilities are endless!  Anything that flies.......  and then because the Pink Ladies struggled to keep to our own guidelines of  'mostly pink' - (green seemed to be creeping in) - we've added the option of also using a colour besides PINK!!  Eeeeek!!!  I did use a tiny bit of green.....  well, I had to join in didn't I?  hehe!

For interest, I just thought I'd also show you the difference in a photo dependant on the background colour used...  see how using a deeper coloured pink background behind the card can truly alter the look of the shade of pink on the card? Amazing huh?  And neither are the actual shade I used in real life..  so you'll just have to use your imagination! LOL!

You know that it's not often I'm happy with a photo of me, but this one is an exception..  and I'm so proud of the two beauties with me!! Thanks to my girls and Barry for making my day very special..  I had a wonderful time...  and got truly spoiled!

I do hope you're not getting fed up of seeing me popping up in your reading list this week......  I promise, I'll calm down soon.........  but we've had a lot going on at CC Designs with the fabulous new Halloween release...  and they needed shouting about, so shout I did!

And talking of shouting........  the little spiders around this card certainly caused a little squeal or two when I diecut them - before they'd made it to be glued onto the card!  More than once I jumped when I saw one on my craft mat!

I embossed the sentiment with silver on black card to make it stand out...  and I glittered the web so it looked frosty too.  Then........  well........  some of the spiders just HAD to be pink and blinged......  well, didn't they?  

I know it seems early for Halloween... but you know how fast the time goes doesn't it?  So by the time you order etc.......  well.........
