What's New??

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends...

It's time for another new challenge over at In The Pink - and our theme this time is 

WHAT'S NEW?

So we're wanting to see what you can come up with using something NEW!  Come on... get out all the lovely new stash that you got for Christmas and join in!!  You could interpret it in another way too...  for a new baby, or a new house etc..

I chose to use a new image that I got free when I joined in the Advent Calendar fun at Kit and Clowder...  it's from Stamp Anniething - a company whose images I adore!!  This is actually a digi - but they only actually sell rubber stamps.  Such a shame that we can't as yet buy them in the UK!  Oooh and I got some new papers on Saturday at Samuel Taylors - the plain pink is one of them - it's from Hobby House.

Bonnie Loves Bows...

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends....

It's Wednesday again - and so I'm over at Stamping Bella doing my 'Wonderful Wednesdays With' feature!!  Can't help but say I'm still so thrilled to be asked to do these!!

Today I've used a gorgeous Tiny Townie by the name of Bonnie..  Here's Bonnie's story..

'Bonnie was getting ready for a night out with the love of her life.  Now as Bonnie is a very modern girl - and believes in equality in all things - she's decided to declare her love and give her heart to her man.  Of course, for this occasion she had to wear THE RIGHT dress to impress him...  and decided on her fabulous PINK party frock - finished off with the most wonderful bow in her hair - the pink would set off her complexion better than any other colour!  Then she just HAD to have her glittered petticoat underneath her dress.. she wouldn't feel right without some gorgeous sparkle.  She decided to put a lush polka dot bow around her heart too. I hope her man appreciated all the effort she'd gone to when she told him of her undying love.....   '

Of course, M'Lady needed her pink...  and when Sir Knight saw her glittered hat thing-a-mi-bob...  he was soooo jealous and wanted sparkle too......  so I glittered his feathers!  Well fair dos... I couldn't let him be seen in public without, could I??

CC Designs January Blog Hop!

Today is RELEASE DAY for the new JANUARY Stamps at C.C. Designs. As you have seen from our Preview Days, these new stamps revolve around LOVE and Valentine's Day. Exciting Times!!

Hi Lovely Blogging Peeps....

I've got some really exciting news to share with you today - well exciting for me!!  At last I can share the secret that I've been asked to do a Guest Spot for Stamping Bella's 'Wonderful Wednesdays With..'!!!  Can you believe?? I'm joining the sistahood for a little while!  I've been a fan of their stamps for years.... they were one of the first companies that I ordered from across the pond..  and my love of their fabulous images is the same now as ever it was - and goes from strength to strength with their fabulous new characters!

I think I've said before that Edna is my very favourite of all Stamping Bella  characters - Edna was my Mum's name so I always think of her while I'm colouring.  And I love how sassy this lady is...  all snuggled up on her (casually thrown on of course!) boa... with sparkly fairy dust flying from her heels!

To colour her bubbly hair and her boa, I did lots of tiny C shapes with my Copic pens in the different shades - I think it helps give the illusion of texture.

Then I used the sentiment that's included in the set on the inside of the card... and stamped/fussy cut the crown a second time for an added little extra.

I took lots of photos so you could see this little lady from all angles.... she cries out for attention don't you think??!! hehe!

I'm still having to pinch myself to believe I'm a Guest Designer with my favourite stamp company..  I may just have to go lie down to recover now!! hehe!

Here we are again with a wonderful new release from CC Designs!!  I bet you can guess what the main theme for this release is - it's the most romantic day of the year next month, and CC Designs has certainly come up with some wonderful images to suit!!

This little cutie is called Valentine Cupcakes.... she's truly gorgeous to colour - and I tried a little colour blending on her pigtails!  Of course, I'm back to my lovely pinks too - well she suits them so much!

Happy New Year!!!  I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and celebrated the New Year in style...  here's to a happy, crafty 2017!  

Sorry I've not been around in blogland since before the holidays - I decided to be brave and step away from my computer...  it took a bit of doing because I always want to see who's made what...  but I managed to stay away!  I think sometimes we do need that bit of time having a break from the usual - then we don't get tired and look at things afresh!

Now...  onto my card today.  It's new challenge time on the All Dressed Up Facebook page...  and our theme this time is..

MAGICAL WORLD

Well.... my magical world is filled with fairies and glitter - so that's what I decided on!  I also wanted to go as far from Christmas images as I could - but still managed to use lots of red and green.  I chose the paper before I coloured the image.... getting good, aren't I?? hehe!  It's usually the opposite way around!
