Heffy Doodle Quack Me Up

Hi Peeps...

Well I've had a quiet day today - so I took the opportunity to pop into my craft room to do a bit of colouring!  This Heffy Doodle stamp set has been sitting waiting for a little while, so out it came!

I coloured and fussy cut the images - then diecut a circle and did a little Distress Oxide blending on that, to create a background for the images.  I stamped the sentiment also after I'd figured out the image placements.  I adhered the circle to the diecut rectangle panel, then that onto the card base.  I added the images with 3D foam pads to the card, then lastly, added some Crystal Glaze to the duck's beak and the puddle - and some glitter to the sun.

Card Info:
Image and Sentiment - Heffy Doodle Quack Me Up Clear Stamp Set
Dies - MFT Stitched Rectangles and MFT Pierced Circles
Distress Oxides - Twisted Citron and Tumbled Glass
Colouring - Copics
Duck and Sun - Y13/15/18 YR04
Puddle - B01
Clouds - B000 BV31

I bought the stamp set from a wonderful little craft shop in Skipton owned by lovely Katy - the shop is called The Stamping Shed and is fabulous to visit if you ever get chance!

MFT It's Penguining to Look a Lot Like Christmas - Take 2

Hi Peeps...

Well these are my last Christmas makes for this year!  I've used the MFT It's Penguining to Look a Lot Like Christmas for my cards...  colouring and fussy cutting them.  Then I created a snow scene for the background - using an MFT Stitched Rectangle die.  I used Distress Inks to give the colour, then splattered with water and white paint.  I cut a little snow bank with an LFT Stitched Hillside Border, and added that for the penguin to stand on.

Lastly, I adhered the penguins with foam pads, giving them a tiny shadow with a Copic BV31 marker, then added a tiny sentiment from Clearly Besotted.

There's four penguins in the set - so I created four cards - the others are below.

Now, I just want to wish everyone that follows me a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  Thank you for taking the time to check out my makes..  it's always very much appreciated!

Sunny Studio Designs Scenic Route

Hi Lovelies...

I'm sharing a 'just for fun' card today... using a variety of images from different stamp companies... joining them together to create a little scene!

Firstly I used the fabulous Scenic Route from Sunny Studios - this is the little row of houses and trees.  I stamped and coloured them, then masked the image so I could do some Distress Oxide blending in the background.  I allowed the sky to dry before splattering both the sky and the houses with white paint to create the falling snow.

I stamped a little girl from the Birdie Brown Happy Santa set - (I bought this years ago as a digital set but know it's been available from MFT as a clear set called Jingle All The Way since) -  then I fussy cut her and adhered with a foam pad.  Lastly, I used an old Paula Pascual stamp set for the sentiment - this set comes in handy so many times - I've had it for years and years and still find it has 'the perfect' sentiment that I need!

Card Info:
Sunny Studios Scenic Route Stamp Set
Birdie Brown Happy Santa Digital Set
Paula Pascual Sentiment
Die - MFT Stitched Rectangles
Colouring - Copics
Distress Oxides Tumbled Glass, Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire

Hi Lovelies...

Have you had a good week??  AND... have you enjoyed all the sneaky peeks of the new release at Stamping Bella???  Hope so!  The release happened yesterday and is sure to be a busy one!

For my Bellarific Friday card this week, I've used the very glamorous Oddball Snow Queen ...  she's so cosy in that fabulously warm wrap!  I coloured and fussy cut her, then of course she had to have glitter - so I have given her a Distress Oxide blended background, stencilled with sparkly embossing paste through large snowflakes.  I adhered her to the background using 3D foam tape.

Stamping Bella Teeny Tiny Townie with a Gift

Me again Peeps!

It's the last day of the Sneaky Peeks at Stamping Bella - tomorrow it's New Release day! Today my card features the gorgeous Teeny Tiny Townie With a Gift.  Now this card was sooooo difficult to photograph properly - so you'll have to go easy on me!

I coloured and fussy cut the image - then tried to do one of the shaker bag backgrounds.. hiding the edges with a frame.  As you can see, the bag took a lot of tiny stars and chunky glitter - I've photographed it flat to try to show the filling as well as I could.  When the card is upright, the shaker bits fall down and are just behind the girlie.  I can only add that it looks a lot better in real life than it does in my photographs!

Card Info:
(available 18th November)
Die - MFT Stitched Scalloped Rectangles
Colouring - Copics
Hair - C5/7
Skin - E000/11
Dress - BG32/24/45
Pinks - RV52/63/55/17
Leaves - G12
Chunky Glitter and Tiny Stars

So that's my last Sneaky Peek for this fabulous release - there are some truly wonderful images and I know you'll be spoiled for choice!
