Stamping Bella Hello Dandy Lion

Hi there...

For my Bellarific Friday card this time, I've used one of the fabulous new Dandy Lion images - this one is Hello Dandy Lion... he's popping in to say hello!

I coloured the image with my Copics, then shaded around with Prismacolor Pencils.  I do like the effect the blended pencils give.

Colouring - Copics
Lion - E30/31/33/35/39
Mane - G00/BG10/B000/V000/RV10/Y0000

Pretty Pink Posh Let's Party

Hi Lovelies..

Today I'm sharing a couple of cards I made using the Pretty Pink Posh Let's Party Stamp Set.

Firstly, I coloured the images - then chose some coloured cardstock - one in pink for a lady's card and one in blue for my brother - whose birthday it was! I used a circular stitched die so I could pop the coloured image behind the circle..  then also cut a circle from gold mirri card to put between the coloured card and the image - it just shows as an edge, hopefully giving it a classy look. I added a sentiment, also using the gold mirri for a matted layer.

Card Info:
Image - Pretty Pink Posh Let's Party
Die - Lil' Inkers Stiched Circle
Colouring - Copics
RV's for the gifts and E31/33 for the cake

Balloons - R24/27 Y17/38, B24/26

Hope you like my cards today - I had fun making them!

Rachelle Anne Miller Friendship Mouse

Hi Lovely Bloggers

Today I'm sharing my card using the fabulous Rachelle Anne Miller Art Friendship Mouse digital image..  it's soooo darn cute!

I printed the image out twice - colouring one panel, then fussy cutting the coloured flower out of the second image, so I could adhere it with 3D foam pads - giving the flower lots of depth.  I gave the flower centre and the puddle some glitter to make them sparkle!

I cut the image with a circle die, then used a fancy circle frame diecut to 3D around the image - again giving depth.  All this was adhered to some pink dotty paper, creating a square card.

Card Info:
Die - Sunny Studio Designs Fancy Frames Circles
Paper - MFT
Colouring - Copics

I thought you may like to see a photo from another angle so you can see how the petals sit up from the image...

Stamping Bella Edgar and Molly Vintage Balloon Set

Hi There...

It's Bellarific Friday - they come around so quickly in this Covid world..  and today we're showcasing other images from the Stamp of the Month range..  which this time is Edgar and Molly.

I've used the Vintage Balloon Set - this little girlie with her kite really reminds me of a time (when I was 50!!), and we were flying kites on the beach.  I'd just managed to fly mine really well and was backing along the sand - not looking where I was going - when THUD I fell flat out - I'd tripped over a rock (that I hadn't seen - obviously), and fell like a log (as my family said) - but hey... I kept the kite up in the air!  They were all laughing their socks off - and I must admit, even I was giggling!  Lesson learned is that 50 year old kite flyers NEED to look where they're going!

I coloured and fussy cut the image - before creating a Distress Ink background using a hexagon stencil.  Then I adhered the images to the panel, joining the kite with the girl using a fine Copic liner.

Card Info:
Stencil - Taylored Expressions Hexagon
Distress Inks - Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/01/11 R20
Hair - E51/53/55
Dress and shoes - R81/83/85
Kite - RV52 G00
Sequins

Hope you like my make today and that you'll pop over to the Stamping Bella Blog to see more inspiration from the lovely Bella Babes.

Rachelle Anne Miller Guinea Friends

Hi There...

There's a wonderful new release today at Rachelle Anne Miller Digital Stamps...  and I'm sharing one of the fab new images that are due out today!

This one is called Guinea Friends - and this little pair are happily playing with their cute Guinea Pigs in the garden.

I coloured the image with Copics, then blended some pencil shading around the characters using my Prismacolors to give the depth.  I also used my pencils for the grass. I then split the sentiment that comes with the image by cropping each individual word, before lining them up alongside the friends.  I did that in Photoshop Elements - it's easy to do with digital images - if you'd like to know more, just let me know.

Card Info:
Dies - MFT Stitched Rectangles, Lawn Fawn Fancy Scalloped Rectangles

Clearly Besotted Shoot for the Stars

Hi Lovelies...

I've been playing with one of the new April release stamp sets from Clearly Besotted - this is one of the images from Shoot for the Stars..  such a cute little image to colour up - and I used a fab encouragement sentiment which comes with a few in the same set.

I used Distress Inks to blend the background - then splattered with white and gold paints.  While that was drying, I coloured and fussy cut the image, along with a couple of stars, also included.  I adhered the images to the background with 3D foam pads, before adding the sentiment.  I then used fun foam to adhere the panel to the card base.

Card Info:
Image and Sentiment - Clearly Besotted Shoot for the Stars

Stamping Bella Journaling Mochi Girl

Hi Lovelies...

It's Bellarific Friday - and it's the second one this month, that means the DT are using images that aren't from the current release.

I LOVE Mochi Girls... and this one had been sitting waiting to be coloured up - so out she came!  She's busy reading her journal from years ago...  just remembering some happy days...

I decided to go for auburn hair - my little grand-daughter has hair a similar colour - I think this is what she may look like in years to come.   I coloured the image then diecut the panel before adhering it with fun foam to the woodgrain paper and card base.

All Dressed Up Birthday Girl

Hi Lovelies

For today's card, I'm using one of the new April images from Wendy at All Dressed Up Digital Images - this one is Birthday Girl..

I got out my favourite coloured pens again - as I knew this girlie would love pink and glitter!  I coloured and fussy cut her, before creating a Distress Oxide panel on white cardstock - by using post-it tape to mask the white.  After I'd done the blending, I did a bit of splattering with both white and deep pink to create a some texture.  I then adhered the image and finished with some small pink gems.

Castle Princess

Hi There...

As I'm still in the 'very excited' mode after joining the DT at Rachelle Anne Miller Designs, I just 'needed' to colour up another of her fabulous images... (you know that feeling?)  This is  Princess Castle...  she's just so sweet and lovely to colour!  She's out cuddling her bunny, and have a little chat with her bluebird friends.  Of course, lots of glitter was involved on this card - well, every princess needs her glitter... right??!  It's such a shame that glitter is so difficult to photograph..

Again, I coloured the image with my Copics - but did all the shading with my Prismacolor Pencils...  with added white dots from a gel pen to give the magical effect.  I added a word that I'd diecut three times for depth and it was done.

Card Info:
Dies - Whimsy Stamps Magical Word Die, MFT Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame
