A Sprinkling of Fairy Dust

Hi Lovelies..

Something a little different from me today - I've used a fairy silhouette stamp that a lovely friend bought for me a while ago now, and she's been patiently waiting her turn to be inked and stamped on a card.

I did some Distress Oxide blending onto cardstock to create a panel, splattering it with water and lifting some colour with a piece of kitchen towel.  That's the scariest bit - as really, we have little control of where the splats go!

Then I stamped the fairy with black Versafine Ink, along with some foliage to create a frame.  I mounted the panel onto some gold mirri card, then onto my card base.  I added a small sentiment heat embossing with gold onto some black cardstock, again matted with gold mirri...  then finished with some glitter on her wings and in the fairy dust that she's sprinkling.

Card Info:
Image - Lavinia Stamps Fairy Dust
Foliage - Inkylicious
Sentiment - Pretty Pink Posh Simple Sentiments
Distress Oxides - Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick,
Ripe Persimmon, Wild Honey
Glitter

Hope you like my make today and that you'll say hello in the comments..

Peace, Man...

Hi Lovelies...

Yes, it's another Bellarific Friday and I'm here again to share Bellarific goodies... this time from the new release.

This is Oddball Hippie.. and I do LOVE her!  I was a hippie in my late teens, complete with head band, necklace - ooh and the short skirt too (which wasn't really hippie regalia!)

After colouring and fussy cutting,  I adhered her to a panel that I'd stencilled with Distress Oxides... keeping it clean and simple.

Card Info:
Distress Oxides - Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry
Stencil - MFT Trio of Rectangles
Colouring - Copics and Pencils
Hair - E40/41/43/44
Skin - E000/01/11/04
Everything else was coloured
using Prismacolour Pencils

I added a few sequins and then adhered the panel to some dark pink cardstock, before adhering all to my card base.  Hope you like what I did!

Don't forget to join in the fun at the Stamping Bella blog where you can find more inspiration, and also pop over to the Sistahood Facebook Page to share all things Bella related.

Peony Perfection

Hi Lovelies...

I've been playing with this fabulous new stamp from My Favourite Things.... this is called Peony Perfection.  Amongst others, I have a beautiful pale pink peony in my garden, and I was inspired by that to create this card.  I didn't make it quite as blu-ey pink, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

I stamped and embossed with gold, before colouring with Copics.

I took an extra photo to help see the gold.  I did a bit of gold splattering too (terrifying!)..  then added a few gems for more sparkle.

Card Info:
Image - MFT Peony Perfection
Sentiment - The Stamp Market
Die - MFT Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames
Colouring - Copics
Pinks - RV000/52/63/55
