Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Busy Bee

Hi Lovelies

I'm back with another Bellarific Friday make... this time we're using stamps from the current release.  One of my favourites was this gorgeous Tiny Townie Busy Bee.. which I've coloured and fussy cut, along with the bees that also come in the set.

For the background, I've stencilled through a hexagon shape using Distress Oxides onto a diecut panel, then splattered first with water, then with gold watercolour paint.  I adhered the image and the bees to this panel with foam pads, and then added the sentiment.

Card Info:
Die - MFT Stitched Rectangles
Stencil - Taylored Expressions Hexagon
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11 R20
Hair - T5/7/9
Dress and Bees etc - T5/7/9  Y15/17/19/38  YR23/24
Distress Oxides - Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed, and Fossilized Amber
Gold Watercolour Paint
Sequins and Stickles

I do wish you could see the gold and the sparkle in real life - it's so difficult to get a good photo showing the effect.  Ah well, you'll just have to imagine!

Pink Fresh Studio Floral Circles

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm sharing a couple of cards I made with the fabulous Pink Fresh Studio Floral Circles Dies..  I fell in love with these when I spotted them, and decided firstly to create a shaker card, then secondly a more simple card. Sorry if this post is a bit picture heavy...  but I wanted you to see the depth.

There are 6 dies in the set - each of a different floral image.  For my first card, I diecut a small slimline panel from the dotty cardstock, then diecut three circles in that.  I added acetate to the back of the circles and then adhered the floral circles to the front of the acetate.  For the background (behind the shakers), I created a panel of watercolour smooshing with Distress Inks.  I added some sparkles into the shaker spaces, and adhered it to a card base with 3D foam tape.

For my second card, I used the dotty cardstock to create the back panel to adhere to the card base.  Then I diecut a small slimline panel out of white card, cutting three circles in it, then adding the floral circles - this time adhered to the dotty card.

I just added some tiny sentiments to the cards and they were done!

Hope you like my cards today as much as I loved making them!

Hi Lovelies...

Sorry I've been quiet this week - my PC had to go and be updated with a larger hard drive.... my lovely daughter and son-in-law took it to do, and it's come back happier - and LOTS faster!

Now for my card today, I've used this gorgeous Ballerina digital stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller... isn't she just the cutest little thing??  She's happily dancing away with her glittery ribbon - and the butterfly is joining in!

I coloured her with Copics and shaded around the image, as I wasn't fussy cutting this time.  I created the side panel by blending Distress Oxides onto cardstock, then splattering with water to give texture and effect.

Pink Fresh Studio Beautiful Blooms

Hi Lovelies...

I've created a card today using a fabulous stamp and die set from Pink Fresh Studio... this is one of their Beautiful Blooms.  There's six flowers in the set - so I have lots more to play with!

I coloured and diecut the flower, then used 3D pads to attach it to a die cut oval.  I created the background using a stencil and distress oxides.  Then I added a diecut birthday word, a little happy word... a bit of matting - some gems - and it was done.  Sounds so simple but took me some time to achieve!

Card Info:
Image and Die - Pink Fresh Studio Beautiful Blooms
Birthday Word Die - Spellbinders Yana's Scripty Sentiments
MFT Stitched Sentiments, Oval Die (no name!)
MFT Bitty Sentiments

Stamping Bella Oddball Cherry Blossom

Hi Peeps...

Today, for my Bellarific Friday post, I've used the fabulous Oddball Cherry Blossom - I do love her kimono and would love one just like that!

Now there is a story with this card... I created a Copic background sky and grounding (after being encouraged by lovely Elaine)...  and I think I'd done OK, but then I chickened a bit and decided to add some little branches around her to give a bit of a frame.  I was doing so well until I attached one of the stamps back to front on my Misti...  so when I stamped I ended up with a blob of grey ink!

I had to quickly remake - by fussy cutting the girl and the cherry blossoms - before creating a new sky background with my Copics.... then stamping the branches BEFORE adding the image on 3D foam pads.  My goodness - it was like restarting the card - think that would have been easier.

I did add some gold watercolour paint to her kimono, but it's not something that shows well in a photograph.

Card Info:
Branches - Inkylicious Oriental Blossom
Die - MFT Stitched Rectangles
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E0000/000/70
Hair - C5/7/9
Kimono - RV10/93/91 V20/22 BG10/11
Ground - YG11/03/23
Sky - B00

Hope you like my card today using this gorgeous image - and (if you haven't spotted the notices), you can get this or any other Stamping Bella stamp for 25% discount today in the Memorial Day sale!  Yayy!

For my card today, I've used a fabulous digi image from Rachelle Anne Miller - this is called Animal Balloons - and is so sweet and easy to colour.

MFT Grand Greenery

Hi Lovelies..

For my card today, I've used the MFT Grande Greenery Die to create a Thinking of You card...  I've used this die before as I find it perfect for quiet, reflective cards.  This time though, I have played with some Lindy's Magical Powders for the background... also cutting the die from the same card.  All you do with the powders, is sprinkle them on some watercolour card...  spray with water and watch the magic happen... it truly is amazing!!  Such fabulous gold glimmer appears - with all the different shades of green - so just right for this foliage.  I decided to cut the die again from gold mirri card to highlight the gold in the background... and also splattered with gold watercolour paint.  I've got to admit, I was a bit green all over by the time I'd finished.... but was happy!!!

Card Info:
Die - MFT Grand Greenery, MFT Stitched Rectangles, Lil' Inkers Stitched Ovals
Sentiment - MFT Itty Bitty Sentiments
Mica Powders - Lindy's Stamp Gang Magical Powders
Gold Watercolour Paint
Sequins

If you'd like to see the card in a small video showing how the gold looks, you can find it on my Instagram page HERE.

Thanks for looking and Happy Crafting...

Stamping Bella Rainbow Dandy

Hi Peeps...

Well I've been a little quiet card-wise this week... no reason really, just other stuff going on.  I'm also fighting the 'photography' of my makes... I spend lots of time trying to get 'just the right' photograph, with little success.  One day...

Anyways - my card today for Stamping Bella is using another one of the fabulous Dandy Lions.... this is Rainbow Dandy - isn't he so cute holding his rainbow up high???

Card Info:
Dies - MFT Stitched Rectangles, Waffle Flower A2 Lacy Layers
Colouring - Copics
Lion - E30/31/33/29 R20

Cloud - C0/1 B60
Rainbow - Prismacolor Pencils
Grounding - W0/1/3/5
