You Are My Sunshine....

Hi Lovelies..

Hope you're all enjoying the bit of sunshine we've had in the UK over the weekend..  and talking of weather, I'm here to share a card using the fabulous Sunnyville Stamp Set from Paper Smooches.

I was inspired by card I saw on Instagram made by Barbara D Tarayao - using this pair from the set with a sentiment that's also included.  I stamped and fussy cut the image then created a Distress Oxide blended background, before adding the image on foam pads with the sentiment below.  I'd also splattered some water, then some white and blue paint on the background to give some interest.  Lots of sticking gems and sequins later, this is the result!

Card Info:
Image and Sentiment - Paper Smooches Sunnyville Stamp Set
Die - MFT Inside and Out Diagonal Stitched Square
Colouring - Copics
Sun - Y21/15/17/38 YR24
Cloud - T0/1/3/4
Cheeks R21
Distress Oxides Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Blueprint Sketch
Sequins and Gems

Hope you like my make today...

Looking Good!

Hi Peeps..

I'm back with another card using the fabulous new Clear Stamps from All Dressed Up available in the UK from Crafteezee.

This time I stamped/coloured and fussy cut the image, then tried to create an emboss/resist panel for the card front - using Post It Tape to leave a couple of inches wide space - then stamping the small flowers with Versamark, before heat embossing them with white embossing powder.  I then did some Distress Oxide blending in the panel, before rubbing the flowers with a rag to remove the die that had gathered on the white.

Card Info:
MFT Stitched Rectangles Die
Distress Oxides - Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/11/04 R20
Hair - E40/41/42/43/44
Top, Bag and Shoes - RV52/63/55/17
Trousers - B21/23/26

I'm really loving this little lady - she looks so good with her midriff showing!  I still remember the days when I could go out like that - in my late teens and early twenties when I was slim!!  And girls, remember the days of hot pants?  I used to wear them with a flowing maxi skirt slit up to the waist...  and a crop top tied in the centre but that had long billowing sleeves gathered into a tight cuff!  Ahhhh... those were the days... I'm talking late 1960's!

OK enough walking down Memory Lane... even in my hot pants! LOL!

Happy Crafting...

Celebrate!

Hi Lovelies...

There's a little bit of exciting news to share today, as All Dressed Up have a new range of clear stamps - so if you've loved the digital images, but don't have printing facilities, you can now get some of the images in stamp form from Crafteezee in the UK.  I'm sharing a card I made with the gorgeous What To Wear stamp - and I decided to go with a shaker as this little lady cried out for some fabulous bling!

Card Info:
Dies - MFT Stitched Rectangle, MFT Stitched Scalloped Square Frame,
Spellbinders Square, Whimsy Stamps Celebrate Word Die
Distress Oxides
Perfect Pearls
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/00/04 R20
Hair and Tights C3/5/7
Dress RV52/63/55/17
Sequins

I coloured and fussy cut the image, then created a distress oxide smooshed background, sprayed with Perfect Pearls to give extra shine.  I diecut the front panel and added the scalloped frame, before adhering clear acetate behind to create the shaker window.  Lots of double sided tape later, I added lots of glittery sequins to the shaker frame, added the coloured image on foam pads, then finished off with a diecut 'Celebrate' sentiment.

Hope you like my make today..
