Polkadoodles Honey Pie Dancing Queen

Hi There...

Today I'm sharing a card using a fabulously cute image from Polkadoodles - this is Honey Pie Dancing Queen.  She's a lovely little lady and I knew she needed pink... of course!

I coloured and fussy cut her - adhering her to a circular die cut with 3D foam pads.  Then I looked in my digital papers and came across this gorgeous daisy print from Pink Petticoat - lots of years back!  I think the sentiment is from them too - but I had lots cut out so just used one of those.

Stamping Bella Bundle Girl with Berries

Hi Lovelies...

For Bellarific Friday - the lovely team and I are using images from the fabulous new release at Stamping Bella - I was spoiled for choice looking at all my wonderful new rubbah!  But choose I did, I went for this little Bundle Girl with her poorly friend.. I couldn't resist!

I coloured and fussy cut the image, then used Distress Inks through a circle stencil on my die-cut square card panel.  I adhered the image with 3D foam pads to give the image height.  I stamped the sentiment off-centre - and it was finished.

Stamping Bella Oddball Poodle

Hi There...

As we have the Set of Kitties as Stamp of the Month throughout August at Stamping Bella, the team are using 'any other animal stamp' for our Bellarific Friday make.

I chose to use this snooty Oddball Poodle for my card - colouring her pink and giving her lots of curls!  I DO love the sentiment that comes along with her... so perfect for that snooty look!!

Card Info:
Die - MFT Stitched Rectangles
Paper - MFT
Colouring - Copics
Poodle - RV91/93/95
Shading - W0/1/3/5
Glitter

There is a lot of glitter on the poodle fur - unfortunately, it was one of those days when no matter what I did, I couldn't get it to show up on the photograph!  Ah well, you know it's there!

Hope to see you over at the Facebook Sistahood page soon...

Mama Elephant Up With Love

Hi Lovelies...

Happy Sunday!

For my card today, I've used the Mama Elephant Up With Love stamp set which I adore, colouring and fussy cutting the images, then using a dry embossing tool to make them more rounded.

I then created a pink cloudy base, using Spun Sugar Distress Ink over a cloud stencil.  I left a clear space at the bottom of the panel to place the sentiment.  I matted and layered the panel onto pink cardstock.

I adhered the little teddy and bunny using 3D foam pads, using thinner ones for adhering the sentiment, which I'd heat embossed in gold.

Card Info:
Images - Mama Elephant Up With Love
Sentiment - Clearly Besotted Feeling Sentimental
MFT Cloud Stencil
MFT Stitched Rectangle Die
Colouring - Copics
Rabbit - T0/1/2/3 R01
Teddy - E30/31/33/50 R01
Balloons - R81/83/85
White Gel Pen
Glitter

Hope you like my make today as much as I enjoyed making it.

Stamping Bella Meet Edna (if you haven't already met her!)

Hi There...

It's Bellarific Friday again and as it's the second Friday of the month, we're highlighting some of the older stamp sets - I say 'older' quietly - as Edna would never forgive me for using that word in the same sentence as her name!!

I coloured and fussy cut Edna - then used a dry embossing tool to give her the rounded effect.  I then created a background using two strips of post it tape and blending ink between them.  Then I stamped it with this Twinkle Twinkle background stamp.  'Nuff said.... Edna has to have her sparkle!

Rachelle Anne Miller Garden Friends Scene Builder

Hi Lovelies...

It's nearly time for the August release at Rachelle Anne Miller Digital Stamps- so today I have a sneak peek of one of the new images - in face this is a collection of little characters and things from the garden.... it's called the Garden Friends Scene Builder Collection and will be available on Thursday, 12 August.

It was so easy to create a scene with these little cuties - as they're digi images, they can be moved around and placed just where you like.  I used PowerPoint to create mine, but Word is just as easy.

I decided to try a little no-line colouring - as the images come both in black line and faded line - perfect for this style.  I tried to give the characters some texture too - especially that little teddy, and the cute little hedgie!

Card Info:
Die - MFT Stitched Rectangle
Paper - MFT Graphics
Colouring - Copics
Teddy - E30/31/33/35/81/18
Rabbit - W0/1/2/3 E81
Hedgehog - N0/1/2/3 E42
Baskets E51/53
Yellows - Y17/15
Pinks - R81/83
Butterfly RV91/93
Ladybird R27/C9
Shading - B0000/000/01
Grass - Prismacolor Pencils

I know I'll use these little guys over and over in different scenes..  they're such a fab way to make something really special.

Hope you like my make today - you can find more inspiration on the Rachelle Anne Miller Facebook Page - or check out the blog.

Hey There...

I'm back with more cards using sneak peeks from the new release at Stamping Bella.... and today I'm really excited as it's Edna's turn - she is my very favourite of all (but shhhhh don't tell the Curvy Girls!)  She's decided to go underwater for the images today - I think that mermaid tail suits her so well!

Firstly, we have Edna and the Manatee - they're having happy hugs under the waves.  I used Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon (apt!) for the background, then blended Picket Fence through a sun ray stencil.  I stamped some sea plants to frame her.  I coloured and fussy cut the image - adhering her with foam pads.  Before that, I'd used a dry embossing tool to give her a more rounded appearance.

I've coloured and fussy cut her in the clam shell, giving the inside of the shell lots of glitter!  I created a Distress Ink Blended Background again, splattering with lots of water.  I used lots of tiny circles that were unused from an older die for the air bubbles.
