Waffle Flower Postage Collage Snowman

Hi Lovelies..

Well, I've done it... I  managed to buy a duplicate stencil set from Waffle Flower, and even coloured it very similarly to when I made one less than a year ago!  Of course, I didn't realise I already had, and had used, this fabulous stencil set before!  Yes... I'm getting THAT old!

But still... it's a fabulous stencil set and I loved using it - this time, I used darker blues for the blending.  After I did the die-cutting, I stamped the postage marks, then I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed with silver embossing powder..  fussy cutting it and adhering to the card panel.  I added some glitter in the snowflake, and it was done.

Craft Addiction UK Santa Stuck in the Chimney

Hi Lovelies..

Today, I'm sharing a card I made with a fabulous set of dies from Craft Addiction UK - the house, the Santa, the tree and the signpost all come in the same set.

I created a background with Distress Oxides in different shades of blue, then created a snow bank with white glitter card.  I added lots of splatters of white paint, to create the snow.

Then I did the die cutting and colouring of the image, before adhering all the bits onto the background.  I added lots of glitter with a glue pen onto the roof and the snow on the chimney and around the base.  Lastly I added a Merry Christmas sentiment, which I'd stamped and heat embossed with silver, before fussy cutting around it.

Craft Addiction UK Bauble Overlay

Hi Lovelies...

Today my card features one of the fabulous recent dies from Craft Addiction UK - it's from the Bauble Overlay die set, which has four different sizes.

I diecut the frame from silver mirri card, then decided to put a winter scene behind that I'd downloaded and printed out from png.wing - they have an amazing range.  I added some glitter to the scene, then adhered it to the back of the diecut frame.

For the background, I used white cardstock that I'd embossed with falling snow - I think it was a Sizzix embossing folder...  then I added a navy blue panel on the card base to show around the white.

Finally, I added a tiny sentiment, and a silver thread bow for the top of the bauble.

Card Info:

Sentiment - Clearly Besotted Miniature Type

Hope you like my make today.... I think (but don't quote me...) it's the first Christmas card I've made this year!

Big hugs

Craft Addiction UK Dragonflies

Hi there...

Today, I'm sharing a card I made with the fabulous Dragonfly dies from Craft Addiction UK.  I decided to keep it very CAS,  just using the criss-cross die from Altenew onto my card panel, with the dragonfly landing to take a close look!

Unfortunately, you can't see that the criss-cross is cut from silver mirri card - I think I'm going to have to invest in some better camera equipment!

For the dragonfly, I coloured a piece of Bristol Smooth watercolour card, using Distress Spritzes in various colours - Wilted Violet, Peeled Paint, Salvaged Patina and Unchartered Mariner.  I let that dry before die-cutting the dragonflies (yes I have more to use!)  The Spritzes give a lovely shimmer in real life - again, it can't be spotted on these photos - you have to use your imagination! LOL!

I adhered the dragonfly to the criss-cross on the card... then added some crystal gems to it's body, and a few around the image.  I also added some Stickles glitter glue to it's body.  The tiny sentiment is from Clearly Besotted... I use this set so often!
