Pink and Main Flower Seed Packet Die Set

Hi Lovelies..

For my card today, I've used a gorgeous die set from Pink and Main called Flower Seed Packet dies...  it has so many different dies in it - I haven't used them all this time, but watch this space for more!

I coloured the flowers (in pink of course!0, then adhered them to a scalloped oval.  I added that to a rectangle of dottie cardstock, then onto gold mirri card.  I used the corner dies and a Thanks sentiment die - also cutting them from gold.

Gina K Designs Delicate Flowers 1

Hi Lovelies...

I decided to make another card with the Gina K Designs Delicate Flowers stamp set, seeing as I'd coloured and fussy cut more than the one I used last week.  

This time, I decided to use an embossed background to sit the flowers on, with a sentiment cut from rose gold card, adding a tiny heart too.  I matted and layered the embossed panel onto rose gold card, then onto pink.

Gina K Designs Delicate Flowers

Hi Lovelies...

For my card today, I've used the gorgeous Gna K Designs Delicate Flowers stamp set - I coloured the images with Copics, then fussy cut the flowers ready to adhere to my card.

I created the background using my arch dies, cutting two close together from gold mirri card.  Then I cut a further arch from white cardstock, adhering the gold frame onto that.  I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

I decided to use pink dottie card for my base, adhering the arch, then added the flowers using sticky dots.  Then I added some gems and some splattering in gold.

The Wedding Cake

Hi Lovelies...

My eldest daughter asked me to make a card for a wedding she was going to - and she wanted 'Clean and Simple' - I know that's her favourite style!  So I decided on just the cake... with a tiny sentiment.

I created the background by smooshing Distress Oxides onto a card panel, then splattering gold watercolour paint on to the coloured base.  Then, after colouring the image, I used a scalloped circle die (cut three times and ahered together) to frame the cake, which I'd also cut in a circle.

Lastly, I added a tiny sentiment which I did on the PC, and, apart from a bit of twinkle on the cake, it was finished.

Hero Arts Here For You

Hi Lovelies..

Today I'm sharing a card I made using some gorgeous flower stamps from Hero Arts - that I coloured with Copics then fussy cut.  I added a tiny bit of gold stickles to the centres - well, we have to have a bit of sparkle, don't we?

I created a background using an embossing folder on white cardstock then I adhered the flowers with foam tape.  I found the sentiment cut from gold mirri card and backed with vellum in my box of bits - it's from a set by Kristina Werner/Concord & 9th and I thought it was perfect for my card.  I used liquid glue to adhere it over the stems - just dotting the glue behind the letters so it couldn't be seen.

Lastly I matted the panel onto red cardstock.

MFT Happy Birthday Circle Frame

Hi Lovelies...

I dug out some older dies to make my card today...  I used an MFT Happy Birthday Circle, plus some flowers from Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms.  I decided to create it differently than I've done before, and put them inside a diecut 'frame'... using a Craft Addiction UK Stitch Craft Fusion Frames die - which was just the perfect size!

I did all the die cutting and colouring, then decided to use a deep pink background.  I adhered the square frame onto the pink with thin foam tape, then added the circle of words.  Lastly I added the flowers, and some glitter.

Memory Box Vivienne Butterly

Hi Lovelies...

For my card today, I decided to use a colour that I don't use often, but always admire - so out came my purple Distress Oxides!

I chose to use this fabulous Vivienne Butterfly from Memory Box (a long time ago).  I diecut it from white cardstock, then wiped it over my Versamark Ink Pad, before sprinkling Embossing Glitter over.  Then I traced around the butterfly on vellum which I'd printed with some watercolours (using a download from png.wing)  cutting it out, then splattering with gold paint, and finally adhering it behind the diecut butterfly.

Then for the background, I used this die set from Waffle Flower which gave me the circles too.  I smooshed some card with Distress Oxides, again splattering with gold.  For the white rectangle, I used an embossing folder to give some texture.  

After putting it all together, I added a tiny sentiment that I'd done on the PC, backing that with a tiny bit of the purple card.

Heart with Butterflies

Hi Lovelies..

A very quick card from me today...  this time using another of the dies in the bundle I bought, so no name I'm afraid!

I die cut a stitched square, and then used this heart/butterflies die in the centre.  At this point I used a tiny sentiment from Papertrey Ink - so I could place it where I wanted while it was flat. 

Then I used some card that I'd previously smooshed and splattered with gold for behind the heart.  I used foam tape around the heart and around the edge of the panel.  I then added the panel to my card base... and that was it!

Spellbinders Whimsical Blooms

Hi Lovelies...

For my card today, I've used the new Spellbinders Whimsical Blooms die set - cutting all the flowers from different coloured cardstock.  

I then used an embossing folder on some white cardstock, to create a background for the flowers.  I gathered them in a group, then adhered them to the embossing background.  I added this to a mat of red cardstock.  

Lastly, I created the sentiment using this Alex Syberia stamp set, onto black cardstock - heat embossing in white.  I then fussy cut around the words, adhering the sentiment over the stems of the flowers.

Orange Flowers 1

Hi Lovelies...

I'm sharing another card that I made using some extra flowers I made when I did my card last week.  This time, I added the flowers to a shaped aperture I'd made in a card panel.  I'd backed the aperture with some Distress Oxide smooshed card, splattered with gold.

The I die cut the sentiment three times, adhering them together to give depth, then adhering to the card.  I tied the stems of the flowers with fine white card, then matted the card panel to a piece of red card, before adding it all to my card base.

Sorry I don't have details to give you of the materials - the dies have no packaging so no brand - I bought them in a bundle.

Hi Lovelies..

Today I've used another of my bargain bundle of dies that have no brand.  This time I thought this die was perfect to create a shaker card with.  

I die cut it from a rectangle card base that I'd previously cut with a stitched die.  The die set comes with the loose flowers to be placed on the top of the panel.  I adhered some acetate to the back of the die cut, then found a bit of rainbow coloured card that I'd previously coloured in my box of bits. It was perfect for the background behind the flowers.  I sprinkled some tiny gems and sequins onto the acetate, then adhered the coloured background with very narrow foam tape.  I adhered it into the space left on the card panel... then onto my card base.  I added the loose flower petals and popped some gems into their centres.  Lastly added a die cut sentiment along the edge of the floral panel.

Orange Flowers

Hi Lovelies...

For my card today, I've used a flower die that was part of a bundle I got from a charity shop - so I have no name I'm afraid!  But I love the shape of the flowers, and set about using Distress Oxides on a blending brush to colour them.

I used Saltwater Taffy and Candied Apple for the flowers, and Peeled Paint for the stems. Then I layered the flower heads up using a bit of foam tape between to give depth and glue along the edges.  I had also shaped the top flower.

Then I used my crimper tool to create a panel of white, layered with gold mirri card, then onto my card base. I adhered the flowers, then decided on using the birthday word across the panel.  I'd cut it in white with a gold shadow.

MFT Stitched Garden

Hi Peeps...

Today I'm sharing a card I made for my lovely daughter's birthday which was on Friday, so I'm safe to share!

Firstly, I created a background panel by using a scalloped border die on white card, over some blue card that I'd stamped with Versamark using a background stamp from MFT called Circle Celebrations.  This left a darker image which I thought suited the card.  I stamped the 'happy birthday' and heat embossed with silver embossing powder.  I'd used a stitched square die on both of the panels, and was careful to attach the pieces together to the right size for the panel.

I die cut some flowers from the Stitched Garden set by MFT..  then some small ones from Memory Box, and some leaves from a set I'm not sure of.  I attached the larger flowers with foam pads, then the smaller flowers and leaves with liquid glue.  I added gems to the centre of the larger flowers, and some stickles to the centres of the smaller ones.

Daisy with Slatted Circle

Hi Lovelies..

Well, despite it being exceptionally hot in my craft room yesterday, I enjoyed making this card!  The daisy is unbranded (you probably know what that means!)  I diecut it, then coloured with Copics.  

Then I used a circle slatted die on my card panel.  I smooshed a smaller panel for behind the slats, using Distress Oxides, splattering with gold watercolour paint.  I adhered that with foam tape behind the slats.  Then I added the flower to the front of the slats, using sticky dots.  I used a tiny sentiment tag tied on with a bit of cord, then matted it all onto blue card.  Finally, I added some gold tiny dots, and some glitter glue on the flower centre  and it was done.
