For my card today, I've used a fabulous new die from Craft Addiction UK called Believe in the Moment. It's from their latest release - which, I have to say, I bought nearly all of, it was sooooooo good!!!
Firstly I die cut the image, cutting it twice and adhering together to give thickness. I used a circle die (slightly larger than the one included in the pack), so I had a thicker frame edge... which I needed to be able to adhere with foam tape. I added a circle of acetate behind the frame. Then I created the blended background... using blue Distress Oxides from light to dark. I splattered with white paint for the snow and then let it dry. I then cut a circle from the blended background the same size as the front. I added foam tape onto the acetate around the image and tiny bits behind the larger parts of the image, then sprinkled some tiny sequin jewels onto the acetate, before finishing with the blended background, sealing the sequins in.
I created the card panel by using the Magical Snowfall embossing folder - again from Craft Addiction UK - from navy coloured cardstock. I adhered the shaker element onto the card panel - then added the sentiment which I'd created on the PC, and diecut with a stitched rectangle die.
