In The Pink............. Vintage/Shabby Chic

Hi Lovely Blogging Friends...

Yes......... that's it.......... another two weeks have gone by in a flash and I'm here again with another card for In The Pink!

Our fabulous theme this time is

VINTAGE/SHABBY CHIC

which proved a difficult one for me - as I've been in the land of CAS lately....  but I dug out my Frantage and my trusty distressing tool......  and here's the result... hope you like!

Materials used:
Image - Saturated Canary Vintage Swim (came on a CD I got with Complete Cardmaking Mag - but still available in 'Another bunch of digis' from Krista)
Papers: Maja Design
Die: Spellbinders Floral Oval
Colouring - Copics
Skin: E000/00/21/11/04, R21
Hat and Swimsuit - RV91/93/95
Flower: RV000/00/93

Shabby White Frantage
Lace (from Kefalonia!), Gem  and Distressed Seam Binding from Stash

Hope you'll join in the Shabby Chic/Vintage fun over at In The Pink and take a peek at what the gorgeous Pink Ladies have come up with - you can go straight to the challenge HERE.

  1. Oooh I love it! fab image and as usual your colouring is perfect, great layout and I love the frantage, I have some of that, but every time I try to use it I make a right mess and it ends up in the bin LOL! think I need a bit more practice, hugs, Colette xx

  10. Ha ha, I think lots of the Pink Ladies found this theme tricky! Your card is so stunning though, the image has that vintage style and then the distressing and Frantage complete the look perfectly :-)

Your new Kefalonia lace looks so beautiful on here too...must convince Dr. Hubby that we need a return trip...maybe to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversay?! That's only 14 months away - lol!

    Big hugs, Kat xx
