A little Gorjuss-ness.....

Hey Peeps....

I'm here today with a fabulous Gorjuss Girl image for my Sugar Nellie inspiration post.... meet Ruby on her swing!  Isn't she just gorgeous (or gorjuss?!)
And yes... she demanded PINK!!  This wasn't a request.... it was a definite demand!!  I'm saying this, because my lovely blogging friend Colette thinks that my craft room must be very noisy with all these images telling me what colour they should be...  and yes, it IS noisy.... but that's the music... the voices are in my head!  (yes.... I'm THAT bad!)

And hopefully.......  Colette and I are meeting up today - she's coming across the border to Yorkshire.... I'm really looking forward to saying hello!

Sorry that the camera has changed the colour of the glittered panel around the image...  it actually in real life does match the paper..  but there you go..  best laid plans etc...

Materials
Paper - Prima All About Me
Die: Dienamics Rounded Banner Stax
Colouring - Copics
Skin (usual)
Hair: C0/1/3/5/9
Pinks: RV91/93/95
Shading T0/1/3
Ropes N3/4
Uni Posca pen for white dots
Glitter

I used the 'out of the box/die' technique for her dangly legs...  I did a video tutorial on this technique a couple of years back...  if you'd like to take a look to see how it's done... check out my tutorial on YouTube HERE.  You made have to ignore my northern accent!! LOL!  Isn't it awful when you hear yourself and you think 'I don't sound like that'!  Hmm... or is that the voices in my head again?? hehe!

Big hugs to all and Happy Crafting...

  4. She's quite stunning Christine, and as for the voices, at least they're a good influence. Mine are quite terrible, they keep distracting me from what I *should* be doing, and egg me on to do other stuff instead. *sigh*. x

  13. Another fabulous pink creation Christine, you must have to have your music very, very loud to hear it over all those images shouting at you, bet your neighbours love you LOL! Sooo lovely to meet you and Barry yesterday, we certainly did chat for England, the time just flew by. As for my fairy all coloured by me, exactly as I described yesterday. Hope you managed to suss out the gradient tool? hugs, Colette xx

  14. At least most of the images must be shouting the same thing at you....PINK please!
Your Gorjuss girl certainly looks fab in pink and I LOVE her shiny black hair - awesome colouring :-)

I do think cameras have a special ability to change colours from how they look IRL and not show up sparkle....but maybe my new one will be a bit better?!

    Big hugs, Kat xx

  18. Me again Christine! Thank yuo for your hug, which Viv delivered admirably.
It may be a very long time before I see her again as she will be 125 miles away instead of 50 miles away...sob!
With my back an shoulders being as they are nowadays, I won't be able to drive that far and back in a day, and I can't stay out overnight because of leaving Stephen...sob.
I am not on FB so I don't see what's on there! Hugs, Jackie xx
