Getting through them a bit now...

Morning girls...
Hope it's not too windy where you are.... we've had some quite strong winds overnight, which woke me.... then a damn cat decided to wail at about 5.30 am.....  dear on dear, what a noise!  All in all, not a good night's sleep!

Anyway, onto my card... I've really had to get down to seriously making my Christmas ones.... and I had this image coloured from a while back, so decided to go with it.  It's LOTV and it's called 'Three Angels'.  NIce to colour, as there really isn't much colouring at all!  Then, well, I just had to get the glitter out, didn't I...... and stickles too.. decided they needed red stars on their halos... (funky angels these are...), but it really did match the paper better!  And I thought they could have just decided to have red tinsel halos instead of your norm!  The paper is from my Authentique Christmas pad, ooooh and I put an embossed panel of green holly too.  A couple of punched poinsettias, and a bit of Merry Christmas ribbon and it was done!

I had another of those bad migraines yesterday - not the pain, but the bad visual disturbances - flashing black/white arcs etc.  Makes me shut my eyes for about 30 mins before it goes.  Then I'm left with a kind of fuzzy head - which hurts like I don't know what when I cough or move quickly.  I don't like them!!  But I'm off out with a friend for lunch today so looking forward to that..

Happy Tuesday whatever you're up to...
Hugs

  1. Hi Christine, what a gorgeous card. Love the image (sounds like a lot of colouring / work went into it in the end!). Great layout and details too.

So sorry you are suffering with migraine, I used to suffer terribly with them but thankfully (touching wood here!) not so bad just lately. A lie down in a darkened room was all that I could cope with when I had them.

  6. Hi Christine, so sorry to hear you are suffering migraine symptoms. I would get the visual disturbances too and they are awful. But I have never experienced pain like a full blown migraine. My poor hubby couldnt even have the tv on in the livingroom when I was in the bedroom shrouded in darkness. I hope you feel better soon. Your wee card is really gorgeous. I love the image. Lee x

  15. Stunning card Christine, fabulous image and great DP and I can see all the glitter without having to zoom in, which I can't on any of mine.
A couple of years ago I started getting funny things with just one eye and when I shut my eyes it was like a kaliedascope, I mentioned it to the optician and he asked if I got headaches afterwards and I said no, he said most people do, he told me what it was but I have forgotten.
