A little bit of gardening....

 

Hi Lovely Friends....

OK.... my gardening isn't REAL gardening... my lovely OH does most of that...  but I decided that these cute little chicks had waited long enough to be coloured up..  and here's my card to prove I did just that - it's my bit of gardening! LOL

In fact, I coloured it twice - but wasn't happy which the design of my first card so that hit the bin..  then I decided on this idea (not really new, I've used it before!)



Materials used:
Stamping Bella Gardening Chicks
Paper - A scrap from stash
Dies - Lil' Inkers Square Stitched Dies, Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Border, 
Sun from CC Designs Make a Card Summer #16 die set
Colouring - Copics
Chicks Y11/21, YR23/24
Beaks and Feet R24
Leaves - YG23/25/63
Flowers R81/83/85/89

I adore these little Stamping Bella Chicks..  I've got another few waiting to be coloured yet... so watch this space!

My lovely OH says my gardening tool is my finger.... pointed in the direction of what I think needs doing!! LOL!

    these chicks and the way you colour them make me wanna garden. EXCEPT I would be the one on the right LOL.. Amazing job.. gorgeous card.. LOVE!!!

    Love this image, it's been on my wishlist for a while. I love how you've coloured it and the simple layout with the cloud die (also on my wishlist!) Stop tempting me with your lovely stash!

    I have to admit to not doing a lot of gardening this year - oops! To be honest, I'm not sure these chicks have got the hang of gardening either...they look like they're having fun though! And that's the most important thing really :-)
    It's a lovely design too with the cute stitched cloud die and sun peeking through...and worth revisiting old designs and re-using them when they are this good I think :-)
