Seaside wishes!

Hi Peeps....

Hope you're all OK - big hugs to you if not..

Time for my Whimsie Doodles Inspiration post..  I've used Beach Hat Ava and created a little scene...

Now, when I chose this little lady to use from the Summer Fun collection, the sun was shining brightly - and I could have gone straight to the beach with her and played in the sand.... but I'm afraid I wouldn't have looked as good as her in my swimsuit and hat.... for a start, mine ISN'T pink (believe it or not! LOL)

I paper pieced her hat, bag and swimsuit - after finding a scrap of paper with a tiny print in my bit box.

Materials:
Paper - a scrap from my bit box - and some blue Bazzill dotty embossed
Dies: Die-namics Rounded Banner Stax and Lil' Inkers Sun
Sentiment - LOTV Set 26 Simply Sophisticated
Colouring - Copics
Skin - E000/00/21/11/04, R20
Hair - E50/34/57
Sand - E41/42/33
Pinks - RV91/93/95, R81/83
Sky - B0000/000/Blender Pen

Hope you like what I did with her!

And of course, now the sun has gone behind the clouds in the UK... and there is even some snow forecast in the next few days!!  Can you believe that??

Big hugs

  6. Fab paper piecing, those small areas look fiddly but they look perfectly cut. Lovely sweet image too.

  8. This is fantastic, love the paper piecing and the papers you have used, nice change in the shape you have used for the image, I get a bit fed up of using the general shapes.

  9. Well, the sun is shining this morning as I gear up for a day at work and I would much rather join Ava on the beach! She looks so cute with her matching swimsuit, hat and bag :-)

Great layout too, the arch shape is fab and as you know I am rather partial to a fishtail banner!

I hope the sun shines for you today too!

    Big hugs, Kat xx
