Peony Bittybloom

One of my favourite Bittys - layers and coloured onto Nestability ovals - then mounted onto Bazzil dotty cardstock and finished with glitter and ribbon.

Bouquet of Roses

Another simple but stunning design from Stamping Bella. I love their clear crisp designs that lend themselves so well for colouring. Here I've used some Bazzil dotty cardstock to give the background some texture. And again, a computer printed sentiment that I've 3D's onto the card. I've lifted a couple of the flowers of the bouquet up too by 3D-ing them. I really enjoyed making this card. Hope you like!

Loopy Daisy

What a lovely image - so simple and so nice to play with. Again it's from super special stamp company Stamping Bella, and all I've done is coloured and 3D'd the daisy flower. I've added a sentiment that I've printed direct onto card - then finished off with ribbon and of course....... what no self-respecting card can be without, glitter!

Matilda Muffinbread

Yet another Stamping Bella image - meet Matilda Muffinbread! She is such a lovely image to colour. I used my promarkers to colour her, then glitter of course! I used glossy accents on her headband and shoes to make them pop a little too. I like to 3D these images, so I did so with her skirt and cake. Then I used my trusy nestabilities to give Matilda a place to me - stipple brushing a touch of colour around the edge. I created the background using Blonde Moments pearl mica powder and some cellophane in a sort of sponge technique. Hope you like!

We're going for a picnic!!

So....... as I spent the whole day colouring and cardmaking yesterday, and the sun is shining today, we're going out for a picnic! We're off to somewhere in the Yorkshire Dales..... so wonderful at this time of year. Hope my bad back holds out for some walking!

Yes DEFINITELY getting carried away......

OK - I'm definitely getting carried away - but I just love this image. She's sooooooo ladylike and beautiful to colour. Which one do you prefer??????

Eloise Greengrass - 2nd appearance

Eloise here looks more regal in her lilac - done much the same as her pink friend, but using purchased handmade paper and card for the backing. Do you think I'm getting carried away?

Let me introduce Eloise Greengrass.....

This is a lady I can't resist....... She's from Stamping Bella and is sooooooo beautiful and graceful! I decided to colour her image with Promarkers, then I 3D'd her skirt and flower an added Glamour Dust of course...... I then put her on two circles I'd created with Nestabilities, then put her on a background of card and paper that I'd created using Starburst Stains (which are truly YUMMY to use!) I added some jewels and she was done!

A little Bittybloom...........

Hi

It's a rainy wet day here in Yorkshire - so I turned to my lovely pastel colours and created this card using a Stamping Bella image called Bluebell Bittybloom. Isn't she gorgeous? I used my nestabilities to create the circles, then stamped the image in black and coloured with my promarkers. I 3D'd another image over using sticky pads. Then I used my prismacolour pencils to create the blue-ish shadow around her. A little dusting of glitter, and she was magical! Hope you like her - she makes me feel like spring is here even though looking out of the window doesn't!

(PS - I have to thank a new friend called Paula over in the States for giving me some inspiration after looking at her images on her blog - my mojo certainly regained momentum!!)

Pretty flowers.........

Hope you like this pretty bunch of flowers - maybe for Mother's Day? It uses my scalloped oval nestabilities, a pretty stamp from Hero Arts that I've had in my stash for a while, and some beautiful paper that I think I bought in the USA. I've used my sakura glaze pens to add dimension to the stamped image - and added a ribbon to finish off. I used Liquid Pearls in the scalloped edges for extra effect!

Sunday

It's been a beautifully bright day here in Yorkshire today - so we've made a start out in the garden. How wonderful to get some fresh air! Loads of jobs done - but we made a quick dash inside about 4 pm when it got chilly........ was time for hot chocolate and feet up! More carding tomorrow - I'm looking forward to it. May get to play with my distress inks!

Yet another cupcake!

This card made my mouth water while I was making it! It's from an idea by Jolene at Pieces of Me - with my own special touches! I used a gold corrugated card for the base of the cake, and cut white glitter card for the top icing. I then put some very fiddly tiny pieces of coloured glitter card as the 'hundreds and thousands' on the white icing! I used my nestabilities for the scalloped circle and the actual circle - finding some lovely pieces of backing paper from my stash for the background. And then a heart and some handcut leaves for the top! Mmmmmmmmmm!!!
