Girl's Christmas Stocking

Hi Peeps...

It's time for a new challenge over at the All Dressed Up Facebook group - and for November, the theme is 

FEELING CHRISTMASSY

So I opened up one of my favourite images - Girl's Christmas Stocking - and coloured her then fussy cut around the image.

I created a background by masking a wide stripe diagonally across my card panel, blending some Distress Oxides in the gap, then using my favourite of all time background stamp - while the masks were still in place.  I heat embossed with WOW sparkly embossing powder.  Then finally I adhered the fussy cut image and added the sentiment.

Well as it's 1st December, there's a new challenge over at the All Dressed Up Facebook page... and the theme is 

MY FAVOURITE THINGS

Well... you'd never guess what my favourite things are, would you??? OK, OK, I'm predictable!  PINK and GLITTER!  What's not to love??

I used the gorgeous Girls Christmas Stocking for my card - fussy cutting her before adhering with foam pads.  I created the background with my new favourite background stamp - so sparkly and shiny!  I masked the centre panel with shaped post-it tape and ink blended to create the ombre effect, before stamping with Versamark and heat embossing with Sparkling Snow embossing powder.

Time for a DT card for All Dressed Up today - there's been a wonderful new release this month, and this little girl is one of the gorgeous images available.

Of course, she needed lots of pink I thought..  and lots of sparkle too, though you can't see a lot of the sparkle as unfortunately, there's been a lack of proper daylight here in the UK this week to take good photographs..  so you'll have to use your imagination... lol!
