LOTV Woodland Fairies

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm sharing a card I made with an image from the LOTV Woodland Fairies clear stamp set...  I love all things fairy related, so I was really happy to be colouring this little beauty!

Firstly, I coloured her with my Copics, then I stamped her wings again, colouring and fussy cutting them, so I could adhere them with tiny 3D foam pads.  Then I cut a scalloped circle frame for her - adhering that with foam tape too. I added a tiny sentiment, then added the framed image to some beautiful designer paper - finally adding glitter to her wings.

Card Info:

Dies - MFT Stitched Circle Scalloped Frame, Spellbinders Circle

Simon Says Stamp Best Day Ever

Hi Lovelies...

I've got my pink head on today... so out came my pink card and ink - yayy!

I have used a couple of dies that have been waiting to be used on my desk - the first is Frosted Frames from The Greetery...  I cut once in pink and once in white, then adhered the pink outer and the white inner onto acetate.  I then created a cloudy background with Distress Oxides which I adhered with 3D foam tape to the frame - adding lots of sequins for the shaker before sealing.

Lastly, I used the Best Day Ever die from Simon Says Stamp to add to the front of my card.  I cut it three times from pink, adhering them together to give depth - then finally cut the shadow in white.

Pink Fresh Studio Farm Fresh

Hi there...

More flowers from me today using another new (to me) stamp set.... this time it's from Pink Fresh Studio and is called Farm Fresh.  I stamped and coloured the flowers, then did a bit of very careful fussy cutting...  there are some fine stems and tiny flowers so I had to be ultra careful!

I added the sentiment from Clearly Besotted to the front of the card, before
using an MFT Die to create the window to pop the flowers behind.  I used foam pads to lift them - then adhered the window panel with foam tape.  A tiny bow finished the card.

Card Info:
Image - Pink Fresh Studio Farm Fresh
Sentiment - Fancy That
Dies - MFT Stitched Rectangles, MFT Large Peekaboo Circle
Colouring - Copics
Flowers - RV63/55 B21/24 V15/17 R81/83
Leaves - G24 YG63

Hope you like!  I'm still struggling with my mojo - I sit in my craft room and just feel a bit overwhelmed - unsure what to use next and am questioning do I WANT to use anything??  Not a good feeling but one I'm sure lots of crafters recognise!

Big hugs...

Taylored Expressions Daisies for Days

Hi Peeps..

OK, this post is picture heavy - but only because I've been playing with one of my new stamps - this is from Taylored Expressions and is called Daisies For Days.  It's actually a background stamp - which only stamps the colour - so that it leaves the daisies white!  It's a rubber cling stamp, but there is a little set of clear stamps that comes with it, so you're able to stamp the flower centres in the yellow needed.

Anyways - of course I got carried away and ended up doing different colours... blue, light green, and dark green (you can see below!)  I used my Simon Says Stamp and my Catherine Pooler ink pads, and although I found that the background had to be stamped two of three times to get good coverage, I loved how they turned out.

Card Info:
Stamp - Taylored Expressions Daisies for Days
Inks - Catherine Pooler, Simon Says Stamp, Distress Oxides
Dies - Spellbinders Venise Lace, Simon Says Stamp Hugs and Birthday Wishes, Julie Hickey Happy

And now for the other colours...

The Greeting Farm Happy Birthday To You Anya

Hi Lovelies...

For my card today I've used this gorgeous Happy Birthday To You Anya from The Greeting Farm - I was inspired by a card that the lovely Amy Young created on which she used the balloons as part of the background - so I treated myself to those too.

Both are digital images - so all I had to do was play with the sizing and getting the balloons to the back, before printing them out.  Then out came my Copics in lots of rainbow colours...  I'm getting a lot of enjoyment using these colours lately!

I added a sentiment at the top, then matted the panel onto red cardstock - and it was done.

Gina K Designs Curved Floral Banner

Hi Peeps...

I was lucky enough to get to the Stamperama Show at York Racecourse last week... so of course, came home with lots of goodies - especially from the lovely Tracy at the Dies to Die For stand.

One of the die sets I bought was this one - it's the Curved Floral Banner from Gina K Designs...  there are two dies in the set, the intricate flowers and leaves, then the background.  The first is cut from black cardstock, then for the background I used Distress Oxides to blend the cardstock before cutting with the die.  Both diecuts are then adhered together - giving a stained glass effect.

Then I did a bit more diecutting and layering, finishing off with the words which I diecut from glitter card backed with vellum.

Card Info:

Other dies - Spellbinders Stately Circles, MFT Stitched Rectangles
Waffle Flower With Love word dies
Colouring - Distress Oxides Picked Raspberry, Saltwater Taffy,
Curved Pumpkin and Twisted Citron
Paper - Crafters Consortium Ink Drops Candy 6x6 paper pad

I really loved how this one turned out... it gave me a little boost - you know the feeling??!

Altenew Weekend Doodles

Hi Lovelies...

Today I have a card that's taken me a while to think about and design etc...  it's another set I've had for a while and has been waiting to be used.

I do like cards with rainbow colours (yes, other than pink!)  So I decided to colour the wreath in those colours.  I did a bit of fussy cutting around the outside of the leaves, but only shaded the inside, so I could stamp a sentiment from the set there and emboss in gold.

Then I used an embossing folder with leaves for the background, adhering the wreath, then finally matting that on some rainbow striped paper.

Card Info:
Image and Sentiment - Altenew Weekend Doodles
Embossing Folder - Simon Says Stamp Tumbling Leaves
Paper - Sunny Studio Rainbow Bright 6 x 6 paper pad
Colouring - Copics
