Penny Black Buddy and Duck 3

Hi Lovelies...

OK, I'm back again with another of the gorgeously cut ducks from Penny Black's Buddy and Duck stamp set..  I can't decide which is my favourite!

Again, I coloured and fussy cut the image, including the two tiny hearts.  Then I created the background using a stitched circle background and the stitched square that I often use.  I used foam tape to adhere that to some blue card, after adding some printed digi blue paper in the aperture.

I adhered the image with foam tape behind the bit that was in the aperture, and just glue on the rest.  I created the little sentiment from a set by Avery Elle, but I had to cut one of the stamps so I could get the words that I wanted.

Another Penny Black Buddy and Duck

Hi lovelies..

Today I'm sharing another card using the Penny Black Buddy and Duck stamp set.. these images are so cute, they have my heart!

I coloured and fussy cut the duck and balloon, then created a background for him.  I did a bit of Distress Ink Blending for the sky, and added a couple of die cut clouds.  I diecut a stitched square, then used a Craft Addiction die to cut the centre square... I love the frame effect that gave.  I added it to my card base over the sky, using foam tape for depth.  Then I adhered the duck and balloon (after shaping them with an embossing tool).  I added a bit of sparkle to the balloon... then added the sentiment that comes with the set.

Penny Black Buddy and Duck

Hi Lovelies..

OK, I fell in love with this duck I saw someone use a little while back, so had to order it!  I think I was lucky, as it's an older set from Penny Black, but I found one in stock and popped it in my basket quickly!

I coloured and fussy cut the little duck, then created a stitched rectangle background with Distress Inks blended over a straight edge.  I attached him and a couple of diecut clouds with foam pads, then stamped a sentiment in the white space.

Tiddlyinks My Super Boy - Sam

Hi Lovelies...

It was my lovely Grandson's birthday at the weekend... so I made this Superboy card for him - he loved it!

I printed the digi image, and coloured it with Copics before fussy cutting, so it was ready for the card.  I used some alphabet dies to cut the words from glitter card, then cut the 6 using gold mirri card.  I dug out some 6 x 6 paper pads and found just the right one for the background - he loves bright colours and also rainbows, so this covered both!

I adhered the image and the 6 with foam pads, and the words I just adhered with glue.

Simply Graphic Cadres Fleuris

Hi Lovelies..

Today, for my card, I've used one of a pair of aperture dies that come in a set from Simply Graphic..  the set is called Cadres Fleuris.

I diecut the image three times and adhered them together to give depth.  Then I used a scrap of card that was left over from a card I made a little while ago.  I'd blended Distress Oxides, then splattered with white and gold watercolours.  I added the diecut to the inked square, then added that to a scalloped  square die cut in white.

Lastly, I added all that to a stitched large square and then onto my card base.  I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed in gold.

Dies - Simply Graphic Cadres Fleuris

Lil' Inkers Stitched Square

Gold and White Watercolours

Hope you like how it turned out as much as I do!

Kristina Werner Concord & 9th Framed Script Hello Die Set

Hi Lovelies..

Well today I'm sharing a more 'modern' for me... at least that's what my lovely man said when I showed it to him!

I spotted a card made using this fabulous diecut sentiment which had the black background, but the flowers were stamped and coloured.  As I didn't have a suitable stamp, (yes, can you believe it?!) I decided to diecut some of the MFT Stitched flowers that were in my stash.  There's two sets which are similar so I used the sizes I wanted from each, and cut them from pink shades of cardstock.

I adhered them to the black, then trimmed around the edges to make it the size I wanted on the card leaving the top and bottom white.  I adhered the sentiment with foam tape, then added gems to the centre of each of the flowers.  I added the panel to my card blank and it was done!

Tiddlyinks Flower

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm sharing another CAS card - this time using this fabulous flower from Tiddlyinks which is a digi image.

I blended pinks through a circle stencil to start with, then printed the image over the top.  I coloured the image, and highlighted the petals with while gel pen.  I then diecut the rectangle so the image was in the right place.  I added a diecut 'hello' that I'd cut three times from white card, adhering them together to give a thicker sentiment.  Lastly, I matted the card panel onto deep pink card to match the flower.

I did at a little bit of sparkle to the centre of the flower, but it's not seen easily on the photos!

Hope you like my make today...

Big Hugs....
