Memory Box Daisy Blossom Stem

Hi Lovelies...

Today I'm sharing a card I made over the weekend, after being inspired by Trina at  phamtastic_design - her card was so lovely, I bought the Memory Box Daisy Blossom Stem dies straight away and tried to create something similar with the other supplies I had.  Thank you for the inspiration Trina.

I used a very simple die, adhered over the flowers with 3D foam pads.  I coloured the flowers with a tiny bit of C0 and C1, and some strong yellows for the centre.  The background is done with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink - with lots of white gel pen dots.

Card Info:
Dies - Memory Box Daisy Blossom Stem, Hexagon Die
Colouring - Copics
Flowers - C0/1, Y08/35 YR27
Leaves YG05/17

The sentiment is an old one from Pink Petticoat, cut with a punch from Stampin' Up.

Hope you like my make today - it definitely is a 'just because' card which I loved making!

Stamping Bella Mini Oddball Superhero

Hi Lovelies...

It's my second post of the day - and this time I'm here sharing my Bellarific Friday card.  As it's the last Friday of the month, we're using images from the newest release... so I chose to use this gorgeous little superhero!

I used some watercolour paper and my gel plate to create a mica powdered panel - die-cutting a circle from the finished piece.  I then sprinkled it with gold watercolour paint, then with white acrylic paint.  I thought this suited the image well.

Die - MFT Circle, MFT Stitched Rectangles
Mica Powder, Gold Watercolour Paint, White Acrylic Paint

Hope you like my little Superhero.... she looks like she's ready for action!

Today we're using images from the current Stamp of the Month collection - which means we're using Teeny Tiny Townies.  As LOVE is still in the air this week, I chose to use this gorgeous set of the littlies...  colouring them and shading to give shadow - also giving the letters some polka dots for added interest!

I coloured and fussy cut the image, then adhered with foam pads to a panel I'd already printed the sentiment on.  I'd decided to play with the words slightly, so that they fit better on my card - it's easy done in Photoshop or other programmes - just by doing a bit of cropping and moving.

Time for another Bellarific Friday card - this time I've used this gorgeous Close Up image for a wedding...  it's aptly called 'I do'!
