A little Bittybloom...........

Hi

It's a rainy wet day here in Yorkshire - so I turned to my lovely pastel colours and created this card using a Stamping Bella image called Bluebell Bittybloom. Isn't she gorgeous? I used my nestabilities to create the circles, then stamped the image in black and coloured with my promarkers. I 3D'd another image over using sticky pads. Then I used my prismacolour pencils to create the blue-ish shadow around her. A little dusting of glitter, and she was magical! Hope you like her - she makes me feel like spring is here even though looking out of the window doesn't!

(PS - I have to thank a new friend called Paula over in the States for giving me some inspiration after looking at her images on her blog - my mojo certainly regained momentum!!)

Pretty flowers.........

Hope you like this pretty bunch of flowers - maybe for Mother's Day? It uses my scalloped oval nestabilities, a pretty stamp from Hero Arts that I've had in my stash for a while, and some beautiful paper that I think I bought in the USA. I've used my sakura glaze pens to add dimension to the stamped image - and added a ribbon to finish off. I used Liquid Pearls in the scalloped edges for extra effect!

Sunday

It's been a beautifully bright day here in Yorkshire today - so we've made a start out in the garden. How wonderful to get some fresh air! Loads of jobs done - but we made a quick dash inside about 4 pm when it got chilly........ was time for hot chocolate and feet up! More carding tomorrow - I'm looking forward to it. May get to play with my distress inks!

Yet another cupcake!

This card made my mouth water while I was making it! It's from an idea by Jolene at Pieces of Me - with my own special touches! I used a gold corrugated card for the base of the cake, and cut white glitter card for the top icing. I then put some very fiddly tiny pieces of coloured glitter card as the 'hundreds and thousands' on the white icing! I used my nestabilities for the scalloped circle and the actual circle - finding some lovely pieces of backing paper from my stash for the background. And then a heart and some handcut leaves for the top! Mmmmmmmmmm!!!
